9 UTILISATION U01 START & STOP START Position the circuit-breaker of the electric cabinet on "I" The white indicator "Voltage on" lights up Check: The position of the screw box 5 (vertical box and lever L lowered) The positioning of the access lid on the crushing tank ( without refuse-chute) or the refuse-chute 1 (option) He closing of the duct lid 2 ( with "duct for remote introduction") the installation of the evacuation duct 6 The presence of the TDL Cleaner can and the installation of the suction pipe Open the injection tap A, close the drainage valve B ( with "duct for remote introduction" 2 Set the selector S on R (Filling): Reserve for water starts to fill When filling is completed, depress the green button "operation": The green indicator "operation" lights up The crusher, the screw and the pump begin to operate Spraying of regeneration water, injection of TDF Cleaner into the water reserve and water injection into the introduction duct (optional) start Introduction of crushable residue Avoid non crushable materials (see the technical sheet) Verify periodically that residue is properly evacuated at the screw STOP Leave the machine to work for 10 minutes without residue Depress the red push-button "stop" NU /03

10 UTILISATION U02 SAFETY DEVICES Crushing tank Screw head (fig U1, fig U2) The removable lid for access to the crushing tank and the residue evacuation duct are made safe by means of a magnetic encoding switch The removal of the lid or the evacuation duct cause the machine to stop and the red indicator defect lights up Ensemble Box + screw + tilting sieve assembly (fig U1) The actuation of the rotary lever for tilting the box + screw + sieve assembly operates a roller safety switch connected to the frame and causes the machine to stop and the red indicator defects lights up Emergency stop The electrical cabinet is equipped with a lockable emergency stop In case of problems during operation, depress the emergency stop: this action stops all the plant To unlock the emergency stop, rotate the button in the direction indicated by the arrows 3-position selectors According to its position, this selector controls: - filling the screw tank, - the drainage of all the machine (see the chapter Maintenance ) NU /03

11 INSTALLATION PUTTING IN SERVICE I01 CHECK THE FOLLOWING Presence of all the components indicated on the packing list Presence of all tails for: - Electric supply - Cold water supply - Dirty water evacuation Check their position regarding the drawings INSTALLATION OF THE MICRO TDL NOTE: The following instructions are to help you install your plant and they focus on the essential points Layout (fig I1, fig I2) - Fit the rubber pads A under the adjustable legs B - Secure the machine according to the layout drawing - Adjust level (height H) according to the layout drawing by means of the adjustable legs B - Assemble the wet duct, then connect it to the machine Make sure of seal by applying a silicon bead on each flange Eliminate carefully excess silicon externally and internally in the duct Hydraulic connection See the hydraulic circuits in the Chapter «Diagrams» Cold water supply The water pressure supply must be included within at least 2 bars and 3 bars as a maximum - Make sure the pressure of the public network is correct Otherwise, provide a pressure reducer Supply to the wet duct Connect the recycling pump outlet to the wet duct

12 INSTALLATION PUTTING IN SERVICE I02 INSTALLATION OF THE MICRO TDL Hydraulic connection Evacuation of dirty water The horizontal outlet of the drainage must be prolonged to open vertically above the floor gutter IMPORTANT! In order to observe the rules of hygiene, a free space of 80 mm minimum, must be left between the end of the drainage pipe and the floor gutter (Fig I3) Electric connection See the electric diagrams in the chapter «Diagrams» The electric cabling must be ensured according to the NFC standard The cabinet / machine link is carried out through a terminal strip located in the panelling (see the sketch supplied with the delivery) Lay the cables in the protective ducts and plastic tubes secured to the wall Refuse chute Install the duct as indicated in the sketch I4 TDL Cleaner Insert the suction pipe into the drum of TDL Cleaner: the end of the pipe must touch the bottom of the drum

13 INSTALLATION PUTTING IN SERVICE I03 PÜTTING IN SERVICE ADJUSTMENT OF THE TEMPORIZATION OF FILLING K 31 FILLING TIME OUT - When filing is completed, the screw tank overflows through the drain to make sure that filling is over - The filling time depends on the water pressure of the mains water supply FACTORY ADJUSTMENT: 90 seconds, that is 15mn IF THE TANK DOES NOT OVERFLOW WHEN FILLING IS COMPLETED, THE FILLING TIME IS TOO SHORT Increase IF THE SCREW TANK OVERFLOW TAKES A LONGER TIME (>15 s), THE FILLING TIME IS TOO LONG Diminish Examples of adjustment Adjustment of the TDL Cleaner metering device time out K32 : SEQUENTIAL FINCTIONING OF THE DETERGENT METERING DEVICE M10 Adjustment of the metering device OPERATION time Adjustment of the metering device STANDSTILL time The detergent metering device M10 is not permanetly supplied: the succession of functioning periods and standstill periods enables metering of the detergent K32 is a flashing time out of which the standstill periods operation periods are separately adjustable Factory adjustment: 3 S operation for 300 s standstill time, that is: Operation TO MODIFY THIS ADJUSTMENT, ONLY ACTUATE THE OPERATION PERIOD (leave the standstill period at 300 s) Examples of adjustment of the operation time: Standstill

15 INSTALLATION PUTTING IN SERVICE I04 PUTTING IN SERVICE Adjustment of the water flow rate in the entry duct Water injected into the entry duct comes from the water reserve If the water rate in the introduction duct is too considerable (adjustment tap fully opened), the reserve empties and the pump unprimes To gain access to the flow rate adjustment tap, remove the trimming panel on the tilting lever side 1 Adjust the adjustment tap when fully opened 2 Start the machine (See the chapter «Utilisation») 3 Observe the flow rate in the entry duct 4 If the flow rate is irregular, shut the tap by half a turn Repeat operations 3 and 4 above until a regular flow rate is obtained NU /03
