2 GETTING HERE Address 4501 Ryegate Dr Raleigh, NC 27604, US Additional directions Park at the top of the driveway next to the brick patio. Cross the brick patio and enter the downstairs door at the back of the house. Be sure to turn left once you reach the shpond! The driveway is very long, so several cars can t there! Parking You can park in the driveway. Guests should park at the top of the driveway to have the closest access to the entry to the downstairs apartment. Several cars can t in the driveway. Don't worry we will not block you in! After parking, cross the brick patio behind the house. Be sure to turn left when you reach the shpond and head downstairs to the entry door. Late entry is not a problem. Come and go as you please. Spotlights will activate at night as you pull up in the driveway. There is a rope light that lights the way from the driveway to the apartment entry door. CHECKING IN Check-in time is anytime after 4:00 PM. Occasionally we accommodate checking in at other times, if you contact us. Feel free to check in anytime after 4 pm without any special arrangements. Just put the password in and you're set. The power for the internet runs behind the two queen beds in the den. Occasionally guests accidentally unplug one of these connections. 4 Check-out Check-out time is anytime before 11:00 AM Additional check-out information Leave all used towels, washcloths, and kitchen towels in the laundry room on the oor. Send us a message to let us know the last guest has checked out. Before leaving: Leave used beds unmade. Please clean up any dirty dishes and put them away. Make sure you turn off the stove, heater and lights. Replace any furniture that was rearranged. Take out the trash Make sure you lock the doors. COFFEE Please let us know if the kitchen is out of ground coffee, lters, powdered creamer and sugar. We have extras we can easily get for you! Please empty your used grounds after using the coffee maker. SMART TV'S WITH NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, YOUTUBE, ETC. Each of the TV's are smart, Roku TV's and will allow you to view Net ix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Discovery channels and other channels. They are very easy to use. The Spectrum app has 200+ cable channels. 4/15

5 Should you have any problem using the TV's and their channels, please contact your host. If the remote controls need batteries, look in the kitchen drawer next to the wall. NO SMOKING There is absolutely no smoking allowed at this property. The home and the area around it are strictly non-smoking areas. Vaping or the use of electronic cigarette devices are also prohibited. Please inform any guests in your party that wish to smoke that the only approved area is at the public street, off of the property. WE LOVE CHILDREN We have 4 children and they like to interact with our guests. We have a lovely garden and play area behind the house. For guests who have children in their group, we ask that they supervise the children at all times when they are outside. Please keep children out of the water feature. 5/15

6 TOWELS AND LINENS The house is supplied with plenty of towels and washcloths for your stay. We leave 2 bath towels and washcloths as well as extra hand towels for each guest on the booking. They are located on shelves in each bedroom and the living room. We supply the bed linens for each reservation. When you let us know which beds you need, we make them and turn them back for your arrival. We want you to be comfortable! If you will be needing additional linens or blankets, let us know. When checking out, please place used towels, washcloths, bath mat, and hand towels on the oor of the laundry room. KITCHEN Guests will nd a microwave, toaster, gas stove and oven and refrigerator in this kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates and cups, atware, knives and cooking utensils. The dining area seats 6. There are additional tables and chairs available for large groups. They are stored in the closet in the bedroom. 6/15

7 BBQ GRILL The gas grill is located on the brick patio behind the house and is for guest use. If you are using it at night, you will want to connect the lights on the canopy. Guests have access to the patio for eating and relaxing. If you run out of gas while cooking, there is an extra bottle next to the grill. Utensils for grilling can be found in the kitchen drawers. We maintain the grill in a clean condition so it is ready for you! FIRE EXTINGUISHER The re extinguisher is located in the kitchen. FIREPIT AND FIREPLACE Guests are welcome to re up the wood stove on the brick patio. Fall, winter and spring in North Carolina are very lovely times to be outside. If you need any assistance starting the re, just let us know. We provide the wood for the re at no charge. There is a wood heater downstairs in the living room. Let us know if you would like to use it so we can provide you with the wood you need for it. 7/15

8 THERMOSTAT The thermostat is a smart thermostat which we control remotely and is located in the upstairs of the house where we live. The house temperature ranges from degrees in the summer. We like it cool. If you want it to be cooler, let us know and we can adjust the thermostat. For guests wishing it to be warmer, there are space heaters available which can be used to warm up the air. Please turn off the space heater when you are not present in the house. PETS NOT ALLOWED We love pets and many guests are sensitive to dander and hair. We do understand that some people wish to travel with their pets and do not want to be away from them for very long. If you are boarding your pet in town, you are welcome to bring it over and let it play in the yard. Pets are not allowed inside the house. There are several pet hotels within 5 miles of the house. Here we have listed the closest 3 for you. Petsmart is closest at.6 miles away. 9 City trash pick up is Wednesday and your hosts drop by on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning to take the bins to the street and return them to the side of the house on Wednesday evening. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES If you are having a medical emergency, a re, or a circumstance requiring police assistance, please call 911. For major medical emergencies call 911. There is a small rst-aid kit in an upper kitchen cabinet. It has basics for simple needs. If you have had the occasion to use it, please let us know so we can replenish it. There is a designated washer and dryer for guests to use. We have provided detergent and fabric softener. 9/15

Cross the brick patio until you reach the shpond, then turn left to go downstairs to the entry door. Enter the last 4 digits of the telephone registered with the booking in the keypad and then hit the "Kwikset" button. Wait 3 seconds for the lock to open. Late check-in is not a problem.
