1 Little Sand Cabin General Information Little Sand Disclaimer Please be advised that you are in a remote area with uncontrolled dangers such as wildlife, avalanches, adverse weather conditions, and many other such dangers found in the mountains. Grizzly Basin Outfitters Ltd offers no protection from such dangers. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE CABIN AND AREA ARE USED AT OWN RISK avalanche.ca (lizard range) Rules of the Cabin 1. No smoking in the cabin 2. Take out all garbage from cabin and please do not leave any garbage anywhere in the back country 3.Ensure all propane lights and stove/oven are off before going to bed or leaving the cabin. 4.DO NOT place anything directly on heater. Hang all wet cloths from nails or hangers to dry. Heater does get hot and will burn your gear if you leave it too close. 5.Turn thermostat for heater to off position when leaving the cabin to head home 6.Any damage intentional or unintentional will be repaired at the cost of the undersigned guest 7.No discharging of firearms at any cabin sites 8.Take everything brought into cabin out. Including uneaten food and drink 9.Do Not change code on lock. If code is changed on lock and lock is unable to be unlocked an additional $200 charge will be added on to the stay. 10.Please alert Travis if there is anything missing or Broken or in need of repair at the end of your stay. This helps ensure everything is ready to go for the next group

Hint if stove will still light there is propane in tank. If tank is empty switch tanks using dial, and relight heater. Lighting instructions behind heater cover. To open cover pull out on bottom corners and lift. Instructions are located at bottom left corner. If heater wont light call Travis. - There is a water pump at the sink. The water comes from a spring and is not treated. If you have any concerns about the water it is suggested you bring in you own water. If the water pump is not working and you are using water from jugs, rather than melting snow there is a water source to refill jugs at the bottom of the trail just above the metal cat shed - All propane lights should be operated at a full on (down) or in the full off (up) position position. - Stove burners are equipped with pilot lights and should stay lit after initial burner light up. If burner doesnt light with pilot light use a lighter and this should light pilot. - The oven has a pilot light. To use open oven drawer turn oven to pilot and push in knob. Next using a lighter (works best with 2 people) reach into the back top center of the oven drawer and light the pilot. You will see a small blue flame. Once lit set the desired temperature. When shutting oven off turn it back to pilot rather than to off if you are planning on using the oven again during your stay. - Please feel free to lift the window shutters off the windows (winter time) to allow for extra light to enter in the day time. Snow Levels Permitting. Be sure to re hang the shutters when you leave - The cabin has both a Smoke detector and Carbon monoxide detector in the cabin. Both located at the bottom of the stairs on the wall. If the smoke detector (the round one) goes off DONT PANIC check for fire get out if necessary. If the Carbon Monoxide

3 Little Sand Cabin detector goes off DONT PANIC open windows and door and air out cabin. Get guests into fresh air. Check for improperly lit lights ( not in full on, down position) check furnace for improper burning. If detector does not shut off after cabin has been aired out and no source of problem can be found. Stay out in fresh air and contact Travis. - If propane can be smelled DONT PANIC open doors and windows. Check to make sure appliances are not on with out being lit. eg lights, stove, oven, fridge, furnace. Sometimes the pilot on the stove top will get blown out and cause some unburned propane to leak into the room. Lift stove top by front corners to check if the 2 pilots are lit. If they are not relight them. The act of lighting the burners manually usually lights pilots. - When leaving the cabin for the day or extended periods of time it is asked that the heater thermostat be turned down to conserve propane. The cabin is well insulated and a still stay quite warm even if the heater is off. *Please note the thermostat will not make the heater get hotter. It is either on or off. A mark has been made on the thermostat. If you set it there the cabin will remain at around 21(room temp) -Please alert Travis if there is anything missing or Broken or in need of repair at the end of your stay. 4 ! Little Sand Cabin Check-Out Procedures: Upon departure, guests are required to leave the property in the same general neat and orderly condition as when they arrived. Please comply with the following before check-out: 1.Dishes, pots, pans, silverware and utensils should be washed and put away. 2. Windows and doors closed and locked. All lights turned off 3. Thermostat for heater to set to off position 4. Fridge emptied and turned off 5. Window shutters to be repositioned (winter time) 6. BBQ to be brought back into cabin and propane shut off. 7. Take out all garbage, from cabin and please dont leave any garbage anywhere in the back country 8. Take out everything Brought into cabin including food and drink Thank you for you stay. Reservations will only be considered confirmed once your deposit of 50% is received. The balance of of the reservation cost is due 30 days prior to the reservation start date. Cancellations made with less than 30 days are non 100% non refundable Reservations made with less than 30 days prior to booking dates require payment in full and are non refundable **PLEASE BE ADVISED- WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS UN- DER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. If additional guests are added after your reservation is secured we must be informed and additional charges will be added as necessary. A complete guest list is also very important in case of emergency

If not reported, we must assume the damage or loss occurred during your occupancy and will be charged to you. If maintenance needs arise during your stay, please contact Travis at or Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside any of the GBO cabins buildings at any time. Damages: The guest(s) named on this Rental Agreement accepts responsibility for all members of its party and invitees while on the property. Guests may be charged for any damage to the property caused by you or your guests and invitees including: -Damage to the lodge or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear -Damaged or lost household items, -Unauthorized smoking indoors
