GO ON, YOU DESERVE IT!!!!! Welcome to Barnacles Temple Bar House, we hope that you enjoy your stay. We request that group leaders take a few moments to read the following information to their group. It is our policy to request a minimum of Noise/ Damage Deposit per person from every group of 4 or more. Alternatively, one member of the group may wish to charge the amount to their credit card, which will be returned on departure. In the event of any damage, or any loss incurred by Temple Bar House, the cost will be taken from the noise deposit and the remainder will be refunded. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone staying at Barnacles, Temple Bar House, we request that you keep to the following rules. FIRE On the back of each bedroom door is a layout plan of your floor. Guests are required to familiarise themselves with the nearest escape route from their bedroom. If you discover a fire, please comply with the following evacuation plan: * Do Not Panic * Leave the building at once using the nearest escape rout * Do not stop to collect your personal belongings

2 * Assemble outside the No 1 Shop at the corner * Do not re-enter the building until it is safe to do so and only if directed to do so by a member of staff FIRE EQUIPMENT Any interference with the fire extinguishers or break glass units will entail an immediate 250 fine, which WILL be automatically taken from your Noise/ Damage deposit and your full group will be told to leave with no refund for accommodation paid. NO SMOKING Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere within the hostel premises. It is an offence to interfere with the building's fire system, including the fire detectors & alarms. A guest found guilty of such an offence will be liable to 200 and police will be called. Smoking is not permitted on the balconies or out through bedroom windows. Anyone smoking on the premises will be fined 200 immediately and the full group will be told to leave with NO refund for accommodation. POLICE In the event of the police arriving on the premises in relation to your group - your noise/damage deposit will automatically be retained and you will be asked to leave immediately with NO REFUND for accommodation. SECURITY Please use the Luggage Room, the baskets underneath your bed and the Safety Deposit Boxes provided. Locks are available for hire from reception for the baskets. Any interference with the security cameras in the building will result in an immediate charge of The cameras are NOT to be touched. There are two emergency doors, which are alarmed; they are not to be opened. There is a fine of for opening the door without cause! Please ensure that your room is locked when you are absent. There is no curfew, as there is someone on duty 24 hours a day. Please have your keys and pass with you, ring the bell to the left of the door, and the night porter will check your passes upon arrival. NOISE

3 Please respect other guests staying in Barnacles Temple Bar House. Guests who persist in making noise may be ejected without refund. Guests who persist in making noise will be charged for the loss incurred by Temple Bar House resulting from their action. BALCONIES Rooms that have balconies should note that smoking is not permitted on the balconies and if anything is thrown onto the street below-the noise/damage deposit will be held. Please note - the kitchen and common room doors are locked at 12 midnight. We wish that you have an enjoyable stay here in Barnacles Temple Bar House.
