3 Structure 9 9 L S LSC ntiwicking Entry Prevents water incursion due to capillary action should the cable sheath be daaged or the end of cable suberged. lso prevents oist air fro infiltrating the otor housing and condensation fro foring inside the housing due to teperature differences between the housing and outside air. Dual Inside Mechanical Seals with Silicon Carbide Face Inside Mechanical Seal with Silicon Carbide Face (FMILY) Isolated in the oil chaber where a clean, noncorrosive and abrasionfree lubricating environent is aintained. Copared with the watercooled outside echanical seal, it reduces the risk of failure caused by dryheating and adhering atter. The silicon carbide provides ties higher corrosion, wear and heat resistance than the tungsten carbide. VRing / Oil Seal (excluding S(Z/R).S, FMILY) Used as a Dust Seal, they protect the echanical seal fro abrasive particles. It not only reduces power consuption but also extends the life of wear parts of the pup as it eliinates dryrunning that causes early wearout. Electrodes (L) Tsurui has developed a unique autoatic control device utilizing electrodes. The pup stops autoatically in about one inute after the water surface falls below the electric probe. Since this echanis eliinates dryrunning, the pup can reduce power consuption by up to percent copared with nonautoatic pups (Tsurui coparison). It also prevents chattering caused by a turbulent water surface and extends operating life. When the water level rises and raises the float switch to a preset level, the switch turns on, and the pup starts. When the water level lowers to the preset level, pup operation stops. Cooling & Dicscharge Design SZ FMILY Top, FlowThru Design This design provides axiu otor cooling efficiency allowing continuous operation at low water levels and extended dryrun capability, and also allows the shape of the pup to be cylindrical and sli for installation in a well casing for deep well dewatering. Top, Side Flow Design This design assures efficient otor cooling even if the pup runs with its otor exposed to air, and also allows the overall diaeter of the pup to be reduced for installation in confined spaces. Side, Spiral Design NK LSP Can pup pooled water fro shallow recesses using the suction attachent. new syphon breaker echanis prevents backflowing and the seal water fro draining out. FMILY option ttaching the optional residue adapter to the pup casing allows draining to in depth. The pup has a spiral pup casing that facilitates soother passage of foreign objects like ud and soil contained in the puped liquid. The discharge direction is selectable between vertical and inclined, which prevents folding or bending of the discharge hose.* Every Lseries is sli design enough to be accoodated in an inch pipe. When the water surface falls below the electric probe, tier starts to count about one inute. Pup stops in about one inute after the water level falls. The process is repeated. When the water level rises to contact the electric probe, pup starts operating again. It is possible to set a lower starting water level by using an extension probe (optional accessory). Though it is a singlephase unit, the pup has the durability equivalent to threephase drainage pups, since the wear parts are ade of abrasionresistant aterials. The sli design allows the pup to be placed in a confined space. 8 LSC Residue Drainage Pup LSP Freepositioning Residue Drainage Pup The LSC pup is a subersible singlephase portable residue drainage pup. The specially designed botto plate enables the pup to drain down to water level. It has a swing check valve that prevents reverseflow of the sucked water when the pup stops its operation. The rubber stand protects the floor surface fro scratching. The discharge direction is selectable between vertical and inclined, which prevents folding or bending of the discharge hose. The LSP pup is a singlephase portable selfpriing residue drainage pup incorporating a subersible otor. The suction attachent, supplied as standard, akes the pup drain water down to floor level. The pup is equipped with a siphon breaker echanis that prevents reverseflow when the pup stops its operation. It is lightweight and easy to carry, as the ajor coponents are ade of aluinu alloy and synthetic rubber. Since it incorporates a subersible otor, there is absolutely no proble even it is suberged in water.
