3 Safety Installation EN Target group and qualification The Geberit product is only allowed to be mounted by a trained plumber in accordance with the installation instructions and the safety regulations. Use The quaclean 8000plus Care is designed for cleaning the anal and vaginal area. It may only be used as a complete solution. 11 Initial commissioning Check whether the commissioning programme is completely finished (blue LED lights up) EN n automatic commissioning programme is run before inserting or filling the active carbon filter and nozzle cleaner. This programme lasts - 9 min. Putting the WC into operation 4 Insert the active carbon filter Prerequisites Spray shield is positioned on the WC seat. Open the maintenance opening 5 Remove the screw cap of the nozzle cleaner. Pull out the filling tray. Position the nozzle cleaner on the filling tray and fill. Do not squeeze the bottle. Press and hold the <Shower> button () while switching on the power switch (). Wait until the dryer arm is extended and the blue LED flashes. Commissioning programme starts 6 Reinsert the filling tray and close the maintenance opening If active carbon filters and nozzle cleaners are not inserted or refilled, the red LED will light up. 7 Cover the IR window of the user detection with your hand and keep it covered The commissioning programme is active as long as the blue LED is flashing. If an error occurs, the programme is cancelled after 9 min and the red LED flashes. B84-00&BDC If the red LED flashes, the malfunction (e.g. lack of water) must be rectified and the commissioning programme must be restarted.

12 8 Check whether the <Odour extraction unit> and <Dryer> buttons are pressed on the control panel. If not, press both buttons. Odour extraction unit starts Remove your hand from the IR window of the user detection. The dryer stops In the event of malfunctions, refer to chapter "Malfunctions during operation" of the operating instructions. The remote control must be closer than m to the WC to enable it to detect the WC. 9 Press the <Shower> button. The spray arm extends and the shower spray starts. Increase or lower the shower spray intensity by moving the slider forwards <+> or backwards <->. Slide the cover of the remote control up until it reaches the stop position. Then remove the slider by pressing the catch and insert the batteries supplied ( x size / type.5 V) into the remote control max. m Mount optical remote control at the appropriate place 0 Press the <Shower> button again. The spray arm retracts. The dryer arm extends and the dryer starts 4 Remove the spray shield and store for later use B84-00&BDC 0-009

13 5 Press the small button (which causes both buttons to be pressed) to release a partial flush ( l). Press the large button to release a full flush (6 l) 6l cceptance Handing over the WC to the customer, ready for use Explain the main functions of the WC using the supplied concise instructions EN l Result Functions successfully tested. WC is ready for use. Refer to the operating instructions for detailed information. Hand end-user documentation to the customer Fill in the warranty card together with the customer (end user documents).
