WET WASTE WET WASTE Leftover food, spoiled food (without packaging), old bread, flour, egg shells, shellfishes, small bones, fruit and vegetables scraps, tea-chamomile and coffee filters, greased (kitchen) paper towels, faded flowers and house plants(small quantities), potting soil, without vase, small quantities of stubbed out ashes from untreated wood, animal feathers, small pet waste and biodegradable "cat litters" wet waste must dispose of Green/Red public street container Containers are labeled "UMIDO" All recyclable waste, diapers, sanitary napkins, rags (even if wet), plastic bags, hazardous waste, vegetable and mineral oil and synthetic litter for pets. Almost half of the waste daily produced by a family consists in organic waste that if it properly separated from other waste and sent to composting it can become an excellent soil for vegetable and flower gardens. WET WASTE Place wet waste in the public street green/red container
N-RECYCLABLE DRY WASTE Plastic plates, cups and plastis cutlery disposable free of residual organic, diapers, napkins and sanitary towels, cigarettes butts, pottery shards, toothbrushes, shavers, pantyhose/tights, light bulbs (non fluorescentdispose of to the ecological platform), pens, markers and adhesive tape, rubber objects and rubber tubes, dirty rags, sponge and cork, cosmetics, band aids, cotton pads and toothpaste tubes, video and music tapes, CDs, small quantity of non-recyclable plastic toys without electronic components, carbon paper, grease-proof paper, plasticized paper, backing paper, wallpaper and sand paper, vacuum cleaner bags and dust. Carton juices/milks, hazardous waste, home debris, garden waste (mown grass, prunings, cut flower, branches and clippings). Disposing of recyclable waste would cause a valuable waste of resources and it would create damage to environment as well as increasing the waste tax of each user. Dry waste must be disposed of in yellow plastic bags supplied by the Community S.QUIRI every Wednesday SAN FOCA, SedRA AND ViLLOTTe: every Saturday Waste must be disposed of in closed bags and must be placed in a visible location on the public street in front of your residence only the evening before the scheduled day of collection. Non-recyclable dry waste is brought to treatment plants to be worked and after a particular working process waste becomes fuel. It is used to produce electricity and heat in dedicated plants. Non-Recyclable dry waste
PLASTIC Water/soda bottles (plastic bottles must be crashed and capped to reduce volume before placing into the container), detergent containers (without residue), packaging (for eggs and etc.), plastic bags, empetied food plastic containers (i.e. ice cream and yogurt containeres), nylon and cellophane packaging, strapping bands (plastic/steel), boxes and bags for clothing, empty food bags (i.e., pasta, rice, frozen food, sweets and etc.), polystyrene food containers/ packaging. Large hard plastic goods incluging toys, rubber objects and irrigation pipes, plastic plates and cups disposable, dirty and/or full plastic containers. Plastic must be disposed of Multimaterial Public Street Container A recycled detergent bottle can be used in construction as a good insulator. A plastic bottle ("PET") can become a fleece sweater and a shopping bag can be turned into bags for garbage. Plastic and packaging
PAPER AND CARDBOARD Clean paper and cardboard packaging, small cardboard (folded), newspapers, bookes magazines, booklets, excersi books, detergents and food packaging (i.e.: cookies and pasta boxes, flour and sugar bags, etc.), emptied and rinsed cartons for milk, juice, wine and etc., pizza's cartons and clean paper towels Paper and cardboard must be disposed of Multimaterial public street container Carbon paper, soiled paper, wax paper, dirty paper, sand paper, vellum paper and wallpaper (non-recyclable dry waste). Every year about 400 million tons of wood are needed to produce the whole paper commonly used. If you buy notebooks made of recycled paper you should properly recycle them after use. Making this small action you will avoid to produce new paper contributing to save other trees. Do it! and we will have a greener and cleaner world. Paper and Cardboard

Aluminum, cans and metal
GLASS Rinsed glass bottles, glass jars, glasses, mixed crushed glass, crystal. Light bulbs (any type), large glass items (big wine damigianes, mirrors, large glass sheets), earthenware, pieces of pottery, porcelain and ceramic ware.
