Induction is a high frequency induction coil mounted underneath the ceramic top plate which heats cooking utensils by magnetic friction. The heat is produced directly to the pan and is controlled by an electronic circuit resulting in superior performance & functions. During cooking & warming, no energy is lost between the hob & the food. Heating stops immediately when the unit is switched off or when the pan is removed from the ceramic top. 3 Induction Cooking & Warming FEATURE AND BENEFITS Energy savings of up to 85% when compare to traditional electrical units. Instant heating, much shorter starting time and short cooking time. No danger of burning from contact with the ceramic surface of the hob. Minimum heat radiation. Less exhaust extraction required. Variable power setting with a temperature range of 50 to 230 C. Temperature holding function. Easy to operate and easy to clean the ceramic surface and body. Unlike traditional electrical units, spillage will not burn on the caramic surface. Environmental friendly. HOW SAFE Automatic Safety Shut-off If the induction unit is left on for more than 60 seconds without a pan or with an incompatible pan, the unit will automatically shut off. Material Compatibility Detector If the material of the pan is not suitable, the power indicator light will not illuminate. Small Object Detector The induction hob will not recognize any utensils smaller than 50mm in diameter. Overheating Protection Device If the temperature of the pan reaches high, and the high temperature remains for 60 seconds, the unit will shut off automatically with a short warning sound. IC Automatic Reset Device The main control micro processor is equipped with a Watch Dog Device, the IC will automatically reset when the software programme malfunctions.
