2 Safe Operation Practices General Operation.Read, understand, and follow all instructions in the manual and on the machine before starting. Keep this manual in a safe place for further and regular reference and for ordering replacement parts..only allow people who familiar with the instructions to operate the machine. Be sure to know controls and how to stop the machine quickly..do not put your hands near moving parts..remove all obstacles, which may interfere with the machine functions..clear the work area such as electrical wires, gloves, knives etc..be sure that everyone else is clear of your work area before operating the machine..do not sit nor stand on the machine..be sure turn off the machine after your work is finished. Never leave a running machine unattended..always disconnect and wait until the machine has cooled before doing any maintenance..do not wear loose fitting clothes or jewelry as they may get caught in moving parts of the machine..please wear security shoes, to avoid injury caused by moving the machine or objects falling from the machine..never exceed the time limit to seal, which is suggested by the manufacturer. This is to avoid any damage that may be caused to the sealing bars and to reduce the risk of fire in the machine..never touch the sealing bars after they have been used, this will avoid corporal burns. Wait a few minutes to let the machine cool down before touching..make sure the sealing bars are well installed in their Guide Blocks before starting package..never incline the machine more than 30 degrees, it may tip over and hurt someone seriously. Your responsibility This machine should only be operated by personal who can read, understand and respect warnings and instruction regarding this machine in the owner s manual. 1

Such will affect its vacuum degree The ground circuit should be independently or parallel Don t install the machine in the potentially explosive atmosphere Installation space includes the requirement of the operator and machine Length Width Height =2M*1.5M*2.M 3

6 1.1.2 Preparations during transportation: The weight of this machine is 160~200 kg, so that the loading capacity of any handling device is recommended to be more than 1500 kg. If you are not sure of the safe loading capacity, please contact the manufacturer of such handling device. If the situation is clearly understood, don t try to handle the machine by yourselves Either by lifting or by handling, it s necessary to check the balance carefully in advance The work of lifting or by handling should be carried out by means of qualified operator During machine handling, any people or car is not allowed to approach the surrounding of the machine During handling, notice that whether there is any person or barrier on the handling path and the surrounding of the machine. If it is, clear it before machine handling Precautions during packing: Packing material: The base is wood Packing sequence: Put the wood base on the ground. Then, put the machine on it. Fix the machine foot with the wood base, pack the machine with plastic film and put vibration-absorbing board around the machine. 5

7 1.2 Precautions before and after machine starting: Precautions before machine starting Before using this machine, read and realize the contents of this manual in detail Check that whether the voltage is correct Confirm that whether the electric power and its rating is sufficient Check that whether all the safety related devices are normal, and notice that whether anyone within the danger zone Visual check that whether all mechanical and electric parts are normal, and also notice that whether the surrounding environment is clean Sequences of power on: Turn on the factory power Turn on the main switch of the machine Precautions after machine starting: Wear safety shoes, protection clothes and mask to ensure safety and hygiene of the operator. 6

8 Chapter 2:Overall description of the machine 2.1 Features of the machine: The machine main body is made from stainless steel with features of well endurance & make easy cleaning The machine adopts high vacuum pump Variable speed control system permits speed change as desired to suit various products Easy to operate,minimum trouble and allows for continuous 24-hours operation It is adequate for food industry factory. 2.2 Function of the machine: Repeat tumbling, mixing product with sauce completely, enhancing the tenderness of product For shortening pickling time while upgrading product freshness For increasing water content in pickles and maintaining tenderness 2.3 Product proper for this machine: Fresh meat, seafood, agricultural products, prepared food, pickles and powdery products etc. 7

9 2.4 Usage life of the machine: Except the consumable parts, the machine s intended usage life is 10 years Provide one year free maintenance and service after shipping. The date is calculated from the end of installation We accept 18 month warranty at most, so that machine s installation should be finished in 6 month. After the warranty, we will charge for further maintenance service Free maintenance service doesn t include consumable parts and vacuum oil If there is any abnormal or unstable situation during the warranty period, please inform us or our agent. 11 3.1 Power light: When turn on the switch, the power light is on. 3.2 Massage and vacuum time: For setting the machine tumbling time. 3.3 Resting time: Set the resting time between 2 tumbling process 3.4 Total time: Setting the tumbling and resting total cycling time (Repeating times depend on different products.) 3.5 R.P.M meter: Display the present rotating speed of the Reduction device motor 3.6 R.P.M Adjust: For adjusting the rotating speed of the Reduction device motor 3.7 Loading/stop/unloading switch: control the tub revolving direction 3.8 Manu/ Auto exchanging switch: Exchanging the machine running way, Manu or auto. 3.9 Vacuum meter: Display the present pressure of the inside tub (adjustable by Page14-49) Power switch: For power starting. - Timer A:Time Unit reducing button B:Time Unit (1S,10S,1M,10M,1H,10H, 60H,600H are available) C:Time Unit increasing button D:Mode Option (Please always keep in B) E:Transparent Cover (When changing "Time Unit",please take this cover off) 10

13 Chapter 4:Instructions of operation, maintenance 4.1. Operation sequence Loading sequence: Make sure to connect the power line and ground line properly. Confirm that switch is on Manu position Turn on the machine power switch. (Page8-E), and open the Air tightness cover (Page15-41). Put in the stuff and close the air tightness cover(page15-41), Notice: For shortening the tumbling time and promoting the tenderness, the capacity is about 50% of the tumbler Running sequence: Setting the massage time resting time and total time. Then turn the manual/auto switch (Page8-L) to auto position, and the tumbler starts running. Rotating speed is controlled by R.P.M adjusted controller (Page8-J) Unloading sequence: After rotating of the tub. Turn the semi/auto switch to manual position, open the air tightness cover (Page15-41), and turn the Loading/Stop /Unloading switch (Page8-L) to Unloading position (Page8-M) for the product unloading Before next feeding,please turn the Manual/Auto switch (Page8-L) to Manu position. and turn the Loading/Stop /Unloading switch to Loading position. The tub will be reverse turning until the cover upward,please turn the switch to Stop position. Then Put in the stuff and close the air tightness cover 4.2 Maintenance The machine should be cleaned thoroughly after each using. As vacuum tube(page15-37) filter cup(page15-29) Air tightness cover (Page15-41)are needed to cleaned and set near the machine for dry Cleaning of the filter: Check the water of the filter if it is filled on schedule. If it is over 12

14 one-thirds of the amount, please pour out the water The Cover gasket on the Air tightness cover should check very often. If there is defect or damage, please replace it immediately It is about 3 months to change the large O-Ring (Page15-17) on the bushing To check the O-Ring (Page15-35) of the inner bushing (Page15-34,36) inside the vacuum tube each week, If there is defect, please replace it immediately Vacuum oil replacement Recommended vacuum oil: BP Engergol RC100, Esso Nuto H100, Mobil Rarus Drain the oil completely before filling new oil Oil capacity should be kept at least two-thirds of total amount Change the oil of the vacuum pump for every 120 hours. Also check the oil level from oil sight glass every week. Oil capacity should be kept at least two-thirds of total amount. If the oil is dirty, please replace it immediately Cleaning Air exhaust tube: Withdraw the Fixing pin first, otherwise the tube is still fixed Detail drawing of the oil pump 1. oil filling hole 2. oil sight glass 3. oil draining hole 13

16 5.4.3 Attitude: 0~1000M sea level Space requirement: It s necessary to provide enough space for heat emission, handling and maintenance The machine should be installed in separation of others. Do not too close If the Vacuum Tumbling Machine is set inside the cold storage, please move the vacuum pump outside the cold storage and connect the tumbling with vacuum pipe. Trouble Shooting for Situation Reason Measure Insufficient Vacuum 1. Vacuum Oil is not enough. 2. Oil quality becomes worse. 3. Water comes into the Vacuum Pump. 4. Air leakage comes from the Tank Cover. Fill it Replace it Clean away the water from the Filter. Replace the Lid Rubber Gasket if defective. Replace the O-ring if defective. 5. Air leakage comes from the tubes. Abnormal sound from running 1. Loosing screw 2. Dried Bearing Check it timely and screw tightly. Fill the Lubricant timely. 15
