Engineered from solid steel, they re packed with innovative installer-friendly features to enable you to deliver efficient installations on-time. Chief racks are easily customised with a comprehensive range of accessories and consistent thermal management options that work across multiple product categories. A complimentary range of custom rack-mount kits are available for popular system components, each with an adjustable clamp to securely keep components in place. Where components offer only IR control (i.e. Sky HD receivers, Apple TV, etc.) cut-outs are provided to accommodate the convenient placement of an IR flasher.

What s a U? A rack unit, U or RU, describes the height of components that mount in a 19 wide equipment rack. A U equals a height of 1.75 / 44.45mm. Don t forget the screws Chief racks require Phillips truss rack screws & washers for assembly which need to be ordered separately. 5 ROTR Series pull-out and rotate racks Chief s ROTR series in-cabinet equipment racks are designed for ease of installation to enable you to easily access system components and wiring, both during and after the installation. With a shallow closed depth of less than 493cm, they facilitate installation and convenient equipment storage in tight spaces such as cupboards or built into other joinery. ROTR series racks pull-out up to 473mm and rotate 90 in either direction. Once extended and rotated into the desired position, they can be securely locked in the appropriate position. The four threaded upright profiles are sequentially labelled and can be simply cut-to-size on-site for smaller racks / spaces. Integral cable management ensures wiring remains organised when the rack is pulled-out for service / system maintenance. The bottom cover panel is finished in brushed black anodized aluminium which prevents the rack from being pulled out accidentally.
