2 Current Method of Surface Prepration Stone Cup Grinding wheel is used in conjunction with a normal 800 watts 45 inch Angle Grinder Disadvantages of Current Method Stone Cup Wheel Stone Cup Wheel is relatively very heavy & it requires a low speed high Torque, Higher wattage Angle grinder When the low torque machine is used on a vertical surface the weight of the stone wheel constantly loads a lateral force which will eventually lead to, Damaged or offset spindle Overload on gear wheels Failure of electronics due to excessive torque load The consumption rate of stone cup grinding wheel is considerably high Angle Grinder 800 Watts 45 inch Angle Grinders are designed for steel & metal processing industry Normal grinders are not designed to take in high volumes of Dust Continuous flow of large quantities of dust through the cooling went will lead to, Poor air flow leads to over heating of machine Over heating leads to failure of electronics, bearings & sealing washers etc Excessive depositions of dust in greased gear, bearings & motor parts will cause high abrasion increasing maintenance cost Proposed Method Trelawny TCG 125 Concrete Hand Grinder (1400 Watts) with 5 inch Diamond Grinding Disc 125mm Diamond Grinding Disc The rigid construction of segmented diamond disc contributes to, High material removal Low consumption of Discs Very light surface profile that improves adherence of water proofing primer coats Larger circumference of 125mm covers more area increasing productivity Trelawny TCG Watts Concrete Hand Grinder 1400 Watts Trelawny Hand Grinder is specifically designed to withstand the hazardous environment created during concrete grinding Higher wattage machine equipped with heat insulated motor part & optimized air flow ensures continuous working capacities in high ambient temperature The advantages of TCG125 are, Optimized air flow for optimized cooling & reduced dust deposition Reduced dust deposition increasing service life & reducing maintenance cost Special D-grip handle allows proper handling with operator hand directly over gear housing Restart Protection: Prevents restart of machine in the event of a power cut off during work Gulf Incon WLL, PO Box 4076, Doha, Qatar T: / F: / E: info@gulfinconcom
