3 Allium was the first house built at Dancing Rabbit, completed in It is a load-bearing straw bale house with interior earthen plaster and exterior lime plaster. The floor is earthen. It is 350 sq ft in two rooms. It has 200 watts of solar panels and is dual wired for DC (solar) and AC (BEDR). It is very well insulated, retaining its temperature well, especially leading to a cool house in the summer with proper management. It does often require dehumidification in the summer to prevent mold (dehumidifier included). The heat is from a wood stove and the shed contains 1.5 cords of wood, which is sufficient for a winter. It is almost totally full now. There is a phone line wired in and currently has DSL. Some furniture would come with the house if desired. The built-in battery and storage cabinet would definitely be included. Light and insulated window curtains included. The outside plaster needs some care every few years.

4 Outside there is: a screened porch on one side with a commercial composting toilet. a clothes line. a woodshed. a toolshed. warm-season above-ground water catchment on both sides. 5 More! "Morel", or better known as "Julie's house" is available for immediate sale. The construction was completed in 2011, so it is essentially a turn-key, almost new home.

6 It is a stick and frame home, insulated with straw bales in the walls (R 32 give or take an "R"), with cellulose in the attic. The interior and exterior walls are finished with a lime plaster. The walls are a mica-infused subdued yellow on the interior, with the exterior finished in a burnt-orange color. A concrete foundation completes the structure. All doors and double-pane windows have included insulated curtains. The Jotul stove easily gets the house to 80 degrees even on the coldest of winter nights with the greatest of ease. You don't have to light a fire every

7 day if you don't want to, as the south-facing greenhouse is incredible at garnering heat in the winter, allowing for significant solar gain. This home is approximately 240 sq ft, with an additional 120 sq ft greenhouse, for an entire encapsulated square footage area of 360 sq ft This home comes with a 1300W solar system & 3500W inverter, with a hook-up to BEDR to feed back to the grid on sunny days (with 4 deep cycle batteries, 4 years old)

8 There is a kitchen with running water fed by a 600 gallon cistern with overflow pipes installed, including a "big berkey" for drinking water, 2- burner "princess stove, hammered copper sink, and custom counter-top, shelves, and cabinets. Included is a small 2.5-year old sundanzer refrigerator ($600), as well as an almost-new sun oven. On the warren is a

9 $1200 storage shed built in 2013 that is approximately 96 sq ft with a loft and significant shelving. Attached to the house is a 120 sq ft greenhouse adorned with over $400 worth of artwork painted by a local artist. Inside, you will find shelving, fertile soil and adjustable windows and doors to regulate the interior temperature. Four rain barrels with spigots capture much of the water you will need to water the 100x70 rabbit-proof fenced garden with over 250 strawberry plants in raised bed gardens. (with 15 or so additional fertile 5x5ft raised garden beds left to your imagination) Towards the west side of the home, there is a large bed of two-year asparagus plants that will be ready for harvesting in Spring, 2015.
