1 WATER HEATER, BOILER, & STORAGE TANK PACKAGES BY BRADFORD WHITE ITF GRANT ITEMS The ITF has partnered with the Bradford White Corporation to offer six distinctive Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Packages. The six separate Water Heater Packages are designed with training, installation, and service at the forefront. There are several prerequisites that a UA local union education fund must follow to apply for a Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Package from Bradford White as a grant. The following steps must be followed for a UA local union education fund to be considered eligible for grant approval by the ITF Board of Trustees. If a UA local training center is interested in purchasing a Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Training Package from Bradford White without the use of an ITF Grant, they may contact Chris Catania, Bradford White s Business Development Manager for Commercial Trade. Chris can be reached at ccatania@ or (215) STEPS TO APPLY 1. Set up a site visit with the Bradford White Corporation. They will visit your local union training center to evaluate your Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank needs. Local union education funds interested in these packages should contact Chris Catania, Bradford White s Business Development Manager for Commercial Trade, for a site visit. Chris can be reached at ccatania@ or (215) After the site visit is complete, a Bradford White representative will recommend the appropriate package size for the local training center s need. Bradford White will contact the local union training center and also the UA Education and Training Department with their recommendations. 3. Apply for the Bradford White Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Package from the ITF Grant Catalog. 4. Send a local union instructor to Bradford White s Institute in Michigan for two day training. The local union education fund will be responsible for transportation to the Institute. Lodging and meals will be provided by the Bradford White Corporation. 5. Once a site visit and Bradford White training is complete and the ITF grant is approved, the ITF Administrator will release the local union s Bradford White Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Package. 6. At this point, the local union education fund will have SIX MONTHS to set up in-house training with the Bradford White Corporation. They will come to your local union training center and help design your Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank training curriculum. 7. If in-house training is not complete within SIX MONTHS of a UA local union education fund receiving their Bradford White Package, the local union education fund will be responsible for the FULL cost of the Water Heater, Boiler, & Storage Tank Package.
