2 Our first mobile water flow heater, type DH1, was developed and built as early as Approximately 4,000 devices of this type were delivered to the NATO armed forces and to international catastrophe protection organizations and are employed for use in mobile shower and decontamination units. Due to their extraordinary durability, many of the devices are still working today. Although this type of device has not been manufactured since 1980, we regularly perform maintenance and servicing on this type of equipment. AquaMobil The real qualification of a supply system demonstrates itself in the event of an emergency, when prompt and efficient action is necessary. AquaMobil, our mobile shower, decontamination and heating systems are designed for easy, fast and flexible use. Practicable application in the field provides the best proof of a system. One important advantage of our systems is that all the components have proved their absolute reliability under extreme conditions, in many countries and under all types of climatic environments. The mature technology, the reliable mechanism of the devices, the modular structure of the systems, as well as the uncomplicated transportation without the need of special vehicles, all these qualities mark the AquaMobil for use under the most difficult conditions. It is possible to connect the pump to the public water supply or to take water from a container or from natural water resources. The air conduction device (standard accessory) is attached to the hot air outlet of the heater and consequently hot air is fed, via a tube, into the interior of the tent. When placed inside the tent, the heater is operated without the air conduction device, drawing air from inside the tent. Another possibility is to position the heater inside the tent and to attach the air conduction device to the cold air inlet. This in turn is connected to the tent wall in order to draw fresh air from outside. The tent heater works according to the principle of a hot water/air heat exchanger. It can be operated either in the interior of the tent, or from outside through a connection in the tent wall. Hot water is supplied by the supply pump VPHZ via the flow heater in a closed circuit. The hot air is distributed by a quietly running ventilator. The speed of the fan can be adjusted in five steps. The direction of the air can be altered through the adjustable shutters. The maximum heating power is 45 kw and the maximum air volume 4,600 m 3 per hour. Water flow heater DH6 with supply pump VPHZ Drainage pump EP, used for draining the shower tent. The pump works automatically and commences operation at a water level of 40 mm. The waste water can either be pumped out to the exterior or, when it is contaminated, into a waste water container.

6 The illustration shows a complete shower system with an undressing tent for depositing (possibly contaminated) garnments, a shower tent with six shower nozzles and two hand-held showers, and a tent for dressing and medical care. The tent heater ZHWL is placed such that contaminated air cannot enter into the clean area of the dressing tent. The supply pump VPHZ provides the flow heater with water, which in turn provides the tent heater with hot heating water. The shower installation is supplied directly from the flow heater with thermostatically controlled water. Water for the shower system and the tent heater is supplied by the public water supply, a mobile water tank or from natural water resources. Waste water is pumped by the drainage pump EP into a waste water container. All the components are matched and are manufactured to withstand extreme conditions. The system can be operated, drawing power either from a conventional power supply or from a generator. The showers are equipped with special water saving nozzles. The flow heater DH6 has a capacity to shower 90 people per hour when six shower nozzles are in operation, and the time of showering is four minutes per person. During the four minute period, each nozzle supplies 33 litres of shower water. Using the flow heater DH5, with the same consumption of water and time of showering per person, a shower capacity of approximately 55 people per hour is possible, when four shower nozzles are in operation.
