6 Swimming Pool Ventilation Modes o Operation All modes are automatic with no input required rom the end user. Sensors constantly monitor humidity and temperature, sending signals to the control system to adjust internal dampers and an speed to meet the individual demands o the pool. Each mode is seamless and conigured to maintain optimum conditions quietly and eiciently. Recirculation Mode When the pool is not in use, typically night time, ans automatically adjust to a lower speed and the AHU adopts ull recirculation mode with a nominal amount o resh air input to maintain conditions. Return Supply Full Fresh Mode Higher bather numbers during the summer months naturally increases humidity. Dampers on the ace o the plate heat exchanger close while by-pass dampers open to adopt a ull resh air mode. Fresh Return Exhaust Supply Winter Mode A smaller proportion o resh air passes through the heat exchanger and mixes with a higher proportion o recirculated air rom the pool. This is heated by the LPHW heating coil when additional demand or heating is required. Fresh Exhaust Return Supply Normal Mode Heat is recovered rom the pool by passing air over the plate heat exchanger. This heat is transerred to incoming resh air. A proportion o air is recirculated back into the supply air stream to prevent unnecessary evaporation rom the pool. Fresh Exhaust Return Supply

The swimming pool supply and extract air-handling equipment was in poor condition, with no heat recovery at all. We also ound un-lagged heating ductwork.
