WATER COOLED SCREW-FLOODED TYPE Flooded type adopts flooded type evaporator, shell-and-tube condenser and high efficiency compressor. Optimized system design and enhanced heat exchange efficiency make the unit working best under both full load and partial load. Every chiller is fully factory tested and gas charged in the factory before dispatch. It uses R134a environmental refrigerant. Owns three stages oil separation and dual compressors from 1080kw to 1780kW, single compressor are from 340kW to 890kW. Stepless capacities adjustment can be customized. 2 of 22

3 AIR COOLED SCREW CHILLER-UNITARY SERIES Midea air cooled screw chillers are designed to meet current and future requirements in terms of reliability, energy efficiency and intelligent control. The stable and reliable operation of this unit is a result of our advanced screw compressor: Twin-rotor screw compressors with a variable capacity valve are ideally matched to coolers and condensers optimally configured for superior heat transfer and unit efficiency. The chillers use R134a refrigerant which has no ozone depletion potential and no phase-out date. Available options provide the flexibility to meet a variety of project configurations. These 380 to 1420kW chillers are wildly applied in school, hospital, shopping mall, office as well as the factory and manufacturing processing area. V5 X V5 X SERIES V5 X SERIES VRF offers a large capacity from 8HP up to 88HP in 2HP increments by combining 4 outdoor units. It also incorporates a range of outstanding features, wide-range outdoor and indoor units, high external static pressure, and energy saving technologies. It supports an incredible piping length of 1,000m and a level difference of 110m, making it perfect for large high-rise buildings. 4 Duty cycling In one combination, any outdoor unit can run as the master outdoor unit to equalize the service life of all units. Back-up function In a multiple system, when the master unit failed, any single unit can be set as the master unit,then the remaining units can keep on working. This can be set on PCB by DIP switches at site. Quick warm-up and cool-down design By utilizing the benefits of all DC inverter compressors, the system can reach full load quickly and shorten the warm-up and cool-down times to provide an immediate and comfortable air solution. Less temperature fluctuation will create a better living environment. Intelligent defrosting technology Intelligent defrosting program will judge the defrosting time according to the system real requirement, reduce the heating loss by unnecessary defrosting and make the indoor side more comfortable. Outdoor unit night silent mode Midea's Night Silent Mode feature which is easily set on the PCB board allows the unit to be set to varies time options during Non-peak and Peak operation time optimizing the units noise output. Extra silent operation mode can reduce sound level further, minimum 43dB (A). Night silent operation will be activated X hours after the peak temperature during daytime, and it will go back to normal operation after Y hours.v5 X SERIES V4 PLUS V4 Plus V4 PLUS SERIES VRF product, which is designed to optimize the system and better satisfying the market. Offering a higher capacity up to 64HP by combining maximum four outdoor units, in 2HP as an increment. The TX-S Series Cooling Tower is designed in accordance to CTI & JCI standards. Its design saves space, light weight, blends easily with architectural designs and offers low operating costs. The thermal performance of TX-S Series is backed by full written guarantee. Field performance test to CTI standards can be carried out and witnessed by the owners appointed inspection engineer to ensure the supplied cooling tower meets the thermal performance. Truwater TX-S Series Cooling Tower meets most design criteria in terms of economy, extra low noise and space saving. TX-S Series Counterflow Tower Specification 1.0 General The cooling tower shall be induced-draft, crossflow, rectangular, film filled, FRP Cooling Tower. Cooling tower shall be Truwater TX-S Series or approved equivalent. 2.0 CAPACITY Cooling Tower shall be capable of providing the thermal performance scheduled. 3.0 PERFORMANCE WARRANTY The cooling tower manufacturer shall guarantee that the tower supplied will meet the specified performance conditions when the tower is installed according to plans. 4.0 CONSTRUCTION The cooling tower main frame structure shall be hot dip galvanised steel (HDG). The casing shall be made of fibreglass reinforced polyester (FRP). 5.0 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT 12 of 22

13 5.1 Fan(s) shall be propeller-type, incorporating heavy-duty blades of aluminium alloy. Blades shall be individually adjustable. Fan Blades shall be factory balanced and assembled. Pitch angle should be variable to allow flexibility. 5.2 The V-belts shall be of rubber with fabric impregnated able to withstand the adverse ambient conditions of 50 C and 100% R.H. The pulleys shall be cast iron with the grooves of standard dimensions. The entire V-belt & pulley set must be fully enclosed in a FRP molded case to protect the V-belts from in contact with the humid discharge air. 5.3 Motor(s) shall be TEFC, weatherproof sq. caged induction type suitable for 3ph /50Hz/415V power supply and with 1450 rpm. Motor shall be installed outside the discharge air stream. 6.0 INFILL 6.1 Fill shall be Vacuum-formed film-type, rigid, corrugated PVC sheets. The infill shall be bonded with specially formulated glue in blocks. The infill modules shall be resistant to rot, fungi, bacteria and organic/inorganic acids and alkali as commonly found in cooling towers. The design shall meet 0.02% drift loss of the circulation water flow. 7.0 HOT WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM The hot water distribution shall be of open gravity type basin. It shall be made of FRP material. It shall be light weight and non-corrosive to maintain stable water sprinkling effect. 8.0 COLD WATER BASIN The cold water basin shall be of FRP and supported on HDG steel framework. The basin shall be designed with sufficient water capacity to avoid air entrainment in the outlet during operating conditions. The basin shall be equipped with suction strainer, make-up ball valve, overflow and drain. For multiple tower arrangement, equalizing pipes between basins shall be provided to maintain the same level of water in each basin. 9.0 ACCESS AND SAFETY Ladder shall be provided for inspection & maintenance purposes. HDG steel fan guard shall be provided over each fan cylinder. CTI CERTIFIED - EC-S Series EC-S Series is an induced draft counter-flow, film filled, FRP multi-cell rectangular cooling tower designed for the equipment cooling, and industrial process cooling and air conditioning applications. The EC-S Series Cooling Towers are specifically designed to meet maximum performance and reliability, and minimum maintenance. The thermal performance of EC-S Series has been certified by CTI in accordance with CTI Standards STD-201. EC-S Series Cooling Towers are designed and provided with high quality v-belt & pulley drive system or right-angle gear reducer drive system for trouble free operation. EC-S Series Counterflow Tower Specification 1.0 General The cooling tower shall be induced-draft vertical discharge type, counterflow, rectangular, film filled, FRP Cooling Tower. It shall be designed with high efficiency drift eliminators to meet current environmental standards and guidelines for microbial control. 2.0 CAPACITY Cooling Tower shall be capable of providing the thermal performance scheduled. 3.0 PERFORMANCE WARRANTY The rated capacity shall be certified by the Cooling Tower Institute (CTI). Fill shall be crosscorrugated and the surface of the sheet shall have a suitable microstructure to improve turbulence and water distribution. Fill sheets shall be bonded at all contact points. Fill shall be of alternate tip configuration to improve water drainage and minimize air pressure drop. 6.3Drift Eliminators shall be assembled in easily removable modules. Drift eliminator shall be 3 pass sinusoidal-shaped blade type. Guarantee drift loss must not exceed 0.005% of the designed water flow rate. 7.0 HOT WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM Each call of the tower shall be equipped with hot water distribution system. Header and lateral pipes shall be PVC. Nozzles shall be nonclogging, capable of passing objects up to 25mm in diameter. The spray must be designed such that the nozzle outlet is the lowest point in the system. The water inlet connection shall be located outside the tower casing. No rotating mechanical sprinkler system is allowed. 8.0 COLD WATER BASIN The cold water basin shall be of FRP and supported on HDG steel framework. The basin shall be designed with sufficient water capacity to avoid air entrainment in the outlet during operating conditions. The basin shall be equipped with suction strainer, make-up ball valve, overflow and drain. For multiple tower arrangement, equalising pipes between basins shall be provided to maintain the same level of water in each basin. 9.0 ACCESS AND SAFETY IService and maintenance platform must be constructed at the fan deck level to facilitate easy inspection & maintenance of the fan machinery. Inspection door and caged ladder shall also be provided. Louver panel shall be removable for access to the sump, make-up, overflow and suction strainer. HDG steel fan guard shall be provided over each fan cylinder. 17 LFC-N SERIES LFC-N cooling tower takes advantage of the water pressure of circulation pump forming the water screen with special ejection pipe nozzles. The pressure differential inside and outside the tower is generated by the flowing speed of water screen, thus causing the inhale of ambient cold air into the tower. The effectiveness of cooling down the water is achieved through the precise diffusers that can regulate the ambient air sucked in through the filling. Hence, the circulation water is fully in contact with the ambient air during water ejection and falling processes, resulting in rejected heat. The ambient air of fanless cooling tower naturally enters the cooling tower due to the pressure differential caused by ejection water screen, thus there are no mechanical fan drive and transmission equipments. This breakthrough, creative, and revolutionary design can, once and for all, eliminate the problems of mechanical noises, vibration, and maintenance brought by fanned cooling towers. This is the best choice for the pursuits of safety, efficiency, and environmental concerns. Super Low Noise The noise of traditional cooling tower is generated by operating fan and motors. The body vibration induced by transmission equipment reinforces the noise resonance and can be effectively reduced by installing vibration isolators and channel base. The LFC-N cooling towers are fanless due to its unique cooling method, hence there are no troublesome noises and vibrations. Water Saving and Pollution Free LFC-N fanless technology tower applies transferring device of high efficient fluid dynamic energy to substitute fan motors. Although increased pump heads are required due to design requirements, the average total power consumption is equivalent between fanless and traditional fanned tower. The air exhaust is designed with non-reducing ventilation so that the outlet air velocity is less than that of fan driven one by more than 60%. With the use of five-pass drift eliminators, depending on the ejection pressure, the drift loss can be controlled between 0.001% and 0.009%. Such drift loss is far lower than traditional fanned towers, hence a large volume of water can be conserved. The water drop is smaller than 50 µ and will evaporate immediately without any further pollution. Low Maintenance Cost LFC-N tower has no mechanical equipments of motor, speed reducer and transmission parts (ie, whole tower consist of non-moving parts). Under standard water quality conditions, as long as the circulation water is clean, there will be no trouble of unexpected shut-down and operation maintenance. Standardized Modular Structure All models are designed with modular structure. The components are produced with molds so that the stable performance is insured and can provide flexible arrangement to meet site space restrictions of the end user. Also, LFC-N cooling towers can be easily assembled and dismantled for future capacity expansion. 18 LRC Series is a square cross flow type cooling tower. The direct contact between horizontal air from both inlet sides and the falling water from the hot water basin occurs inside the PVC fillings so that the heat can be rejected from the tower by the fan. LRC series allows for multi-cell arrangements as the towers are in modular design. This series of cooling tower allows for maintenance during running condition without affecting its normal operation. Furthermore, the access door feature allows for convenience when performing routine filling cleaning. LRC series applies the gravitational type distribution system through uniform water distribution achieved by gravity hence the internal pressure component of pump head is insignificant. The gravitational distribution design also lowers drift loss and features low fan speed and low noise. The thermal performance of R- LC Series has been certified by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) in accordance with CTI STD-201. Product Features Side Plate & Inlet Louver Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (F.R.P.) side plates and PVC inlet louver have been designed both for anti-acid, anti-alkaline, weather-proof, anticorrosive and resistance to Ultra-violet, non-twisted and non-deformed. Fan Drive & Fan Blade The axial fan design is applied and can be adjusted based on actual operation air volume. The speed reducer is driven with multi-belts to ensure that there is larger contact area, low vibration and smooth transmission. The belts are protected with FRP casing so that they are not wetted and not gliding. Lower Power Consumption High efficient hydrodynamics Venturi tube fan stack with low resistance filling facilitates good ventilation and reduction of fan motor power to save electrical energy. Water Sump The water sump is made of FRP material and externally supported with hot-dipped-galvanized steel. The piping of water sump includes outlet water, auto filler pipe, quick filler pipe, over-flow pipe and drain pipe. The stainless steel suction strainer is installed on outlet pipe to block alien objects from entering. The basin partitions can be additionally installed for multiple cells so that the tower can be cleaned or maintained for the individual cell or partially, without affecting the operation of the whole system. Water Distribution System Hot water basins are installed on two sides of tower and distribution water falls by gravity into tower with low water pressure. This design leads the water to spread into the fillings evenly and achieve the best efficiency of heat exchanging. FRP distribution box inside can lower the inlet water pressure to prevent the water from splashing. Efficient Performance Unique design of vacuum-formed & round-chorded filling with ripple surface facilitate even spread & long duration of water drop and free of deposits & scales. Ladder & Access Door The access door and walkway equipped inside the tower are to ensure the convenience of maintenance and cleaning. LBC SERIES LBC series is a circular counter flow cooling tower which adopts a highly efficient rotating sprinkler head system to induce self rotation in distributing hot water across the fillings. The Fiberglass-Reinforced Polyester (F.R.P.) casing is circular shaped thus eliminating special positioning requirements and is not affected by prevailing wind directions. It further allows quick and easy installation due to light-weight and compactness. LBC is the most conventional, economical, and practical cooling towers with sizes ranging from 5 tons to 1500 tons. The LBC standard series is suitable for general HVAC applications and various manufacturing process cooling. LBC-LN (Low Noise) type features an upper fan stack and splash mat for running at lower fan speed based on the feature of fan blade. LBC-LN series has lower noise level than the standard LBC model by 7~10 db. F.R.P. features good structure stress, non-chap, non-crack, non-aging, firmness and long service life. Fan Drive LBC models below 200RT have direct driven fans by a low-noise motor. Model LBC-225~1500 are driven by general V-type belt that features wide contacting area, light vibration and stable transmission. Belts have FRP protection cover that leads to moist-resistance, smooth running, wearresistance, firmness, low refueling and easy maintenance. Fan Blade Aero-dynamically designed propeller fans operated at low speed are used to save on power consumption and to ensure quiet operation. Models below 30RT are made of special reinforced plastic fans. Model LBC-40 upwards are made of aluminium alloy. Water Distribution A highly efficient self-rotating sprinkler head system made of reinforced plastic is used for the smaller range of towers. From LBC-70 models upwards the sprinkler head is made of aluminum alloy. Spinkler pipes and stand pipes are of PVC plastic tubes featuring low water pressure, even water distribution, lower water consumption and maximum heat exchange efficiency. Filling The embossed filling is made of PVC sheet that is processed by surface treatment of wrinkled and corrugated pattern. The filling is glued together to extend the retention time of flowing water and enable adequate surface in contact with the ambient air to increase heat exchange efficiency. PVC filling is suitable for operation with inlet water temperature up to 47 C. Additional filling options offered include CPVC and PP material for inlet water temperatures above 47 C. Liang Chi offers Model LBC-W which is specially designed with Preventive treated wood filling, suited for industrial cooling of high temperature and poor water quality.
