4 F.A.Q. HOW DOES THE WATER TIGHT DOOR WORK? The door system provides a completely fl at surface for a watertight seal. Ergonomic handle for easy, minimal-effort use. Lifetime warranty on door seal. DOES THE WALK-IN BATH HAVE SAFETY CERTIFICATION? Yes! Please refer to the specifi cation page for a list of the certifi cations. HOW IS THE WALK-IN BATH INSTALLED INTO MY EXISTING BATHROOM? The installation is very easy. You don t need to remodel your bathroom since our bath fi ts into a traditional 60 inch bath space. Selected models include an extension kit to perfectly complete a retrofi t installation. Our baths come in both right hand and left hand models to accommodate any bathroom layout. IS THERE ANYTHING INSTALLER NEEDS TO KNOW BEFORE OUR BATH IS DELIVERED? Please refer to the American Standard Walk-In Bath Installation Instructions and Owners Manual. This documentation can be found on BCI Connect. IS THERE A WARRANTY WITH MY WALK-IN BATH? Gelcoat Walk-In Baths are covered by a 10 year warranty on bath shells and 5 years on the components and Acrylic is covered by a 15 year warranty on bath shells and 10 years on the components. Our friendly customer service representatives are ready to help with all aspects of your walk-in bath, even years after your purchase! In addition to your bath shell and components warranty, you also have a LIFETIME warranty on the seal of your door. 20 OVERFLOW WITH QUICK DRAIN CONNECTION OF THE QUICK DRAIN 1. Installation of the Quick Drain System requires the connection to a minimum 1½" sanitary drain line. 2. Use only SCH 40 1½" diameter pipe and fi ttings; use approved PVC primer and glue. 3. The Sanitary Tee from the Quick Drain should be installed directly above the Drain Tee. 4. There should be a maximum of 1" of 1½" PVC pipe between the two Sanitary Tees. 5. Dry fi t the drain/overfl ow assembly to the sanitary drainage pipe and check for proper fi t. 6. Glue the Quick Drain fi ttings, pipe, and drain overfl ow assembly to the sanitary drainage pipe.
