2 Core Control - IP-based Building Management Control Software Core Control is a professional Building Management Control application for scheduling and triggering IP-connected devices such as 2N Audio-over-IP, access control systems, intercom systems, public address, lighting, fire alarm and time & attendance systems. 4 BUILDING ACCESS PEDESTRIAN STREET ACCESS SECURITY LIGHTS SPEAKER VEHICLE SECURITY GATES ANNOUNCEMENT Core Control IP Device Scheduling Interface Core Control is a professional Building Management Control application for scheduling and triggering IP-connected devices such as Audio-over- IP, access control systems, intercom systems, public address, lighting, fire alarm and time & attendance systems. Exclusively developed for CIE and for integration with the 2N NetSpeaker range of Audio-over-IP systems, Core Control provides an easy-to-manage building management control interface which is ideal for educational environments (for example, for School Bell Timing and Class Change systems) as well as commercial applications such as Shift Change and Messaging / Audio Marketing scheduling. The Core Control scheduling software allows the client to utilise network relays to interact with the 2N NetSpeaker Audio System. The system also allows 2N NetSpeaker to interact with other third-party devices via IP relays; controlling switched actions such as locking/ unlocking doors, gates and barriers, as well as playing pre-recorded messages or bells and tones. 4 CORE CONTROL

5 Core Control provides a clear and simple Windows-based interface to schedule an unlimited number of IP-connected devices throughout a site-wide system and is particularly suited to School Lock-down Systems which are increasingly being specified into city-centre locations. 6 Overview of the Core Control software Divided into two sections, the Events Scheduler and the Events Scheduler - EDITING, the Core Control application allows the user to add and set-up an unlimited number of AV, access control and alarm devices throughout a building or campus environment. Events Scheduler: This section allows the user to set actions against all pre-assigned devices including relay setup and alerts. The Events Scheduler works on a weekly basis allowing for full scheduling control on a daily, hourly or per-minute basis. Events Scheduler - EDITING: The user assigns all external devices required to be programmed in this section. These form the basis for the Events Scheduler section. 6 CORE CONTROL

Please note that for compatibility, the Core Control software may be used with a variety of PC controlled devices.
