In year 1996, Unitor s land division was taken over by His Excellency Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far (Undersecretary, Ministry of the Interior, United Arab Emirates) to establish UNISAFE to focus preciously on local market needs. Since then, Unisafe is providing its services to various customers and contracts in UAE and continue to do so. In year 2006, Unisafe was taken over by Zicom Electronic Security Systems Limited, India and became a joint venture company of Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd., India. This has enabled Unisafe to expand its existing operations and venture into new markets and regions.
