3 INTRODUCTION Established in 1994, Tyco Fire & Security UAE is an Engineering, Contracting and Service company and is a leading provider of Fire Detection, Fire Protection, Security and Integrated Telecommunications Systems in the Middle East. We offer turnkey solutions including design, supply, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of Fire, Security and Telecommunications Systems. All these are backed up by our exceptional Service and Maintenance Division. Starting off with only 5 key personnel in 1994, Tyco Fire & Security UAE has expanded to become a team of nearly 1,300 direct/indirect employees across all disciplines. This workforce is spread across the business dealing in Sales, Design, Construction and essential support service such as Accounts, Marketing, Procurement and QA/QC, plus a very active and efficient HSE Department to ensure our people and client-base are kept safe. With over 20 years of extensive experience as a specialist fire, security and telecommunications solutions provider operating in the U.A.E., Qatar and Oman, Tyco Fire & Security UAE takes pride in our reputation, technical expertise and business excellence. 10 CONTRACTING CAPABILITIES Project Manager: A Project Manager is appointed who has full responsibility for all activities from the time of order award through to installation, commissioning at site and to the end of the guarantee period. Subcontractors: Our choice and appointment of subcontractors is subject to the client s agreement. Tyco Fire & Security UAE ensures that the appointed Subcontractor meets the requirements of the contract in terms of program of work, Inspection & Test Plan and Purchase Order requirements. Major Subcontractor: As this is dependent upon the nature of work, various subcontractors will be employed. Tyco Fire & Security UAE has established an approved list of Major Subcontractors, which is available on request. Quality Assurance/Quality Control: A logical progression of the processes involved during contract execution is presented in a Quality Plan. Tyco Fire & Security UAE develops project-specific Quality Plans based on the contract specifications and requirements, which enable the team to monitor engineering, procurement and manufacturing activities. 11 Planning: Where appropriate and practical, project personnel shall interface with the Estimating personnel to establish awareness of the scope of work. Project personnel shall ensure to report back to the concerned departments about problems with existing procedures on current projects and in previous projects. This will provide an important feedback loop for project planning and additionally help to ensure that all parties concerned are committed to the scope of work awarded. Tyco Fire & Security UAE uses MS Project, MS Office and CAD Viewer softwares to carry out its Planning processes and procedures. Installation and Commissioning: Tyco Fire & Security UAE offers: - Design - Supply - Site installation - Site supervision - Own labour force - Full on-site commissioning - In-house training of clients/operators - On-site training of clients/operators - Maintenance contracts Design Capabilities: Tyco Fire & Security UAE has the capability to use client requirements and specifications as a basis to carry out full design and produce detailed working drawings using the latest computer-aided design softwares. 12 SERVICE & MAINTENANCE Tyco Fire & Security UAE has dedicated teams of Service Engineers to support our customer-base providing electrical, mechanical, preventative and reactive maintenance throughout all market sectors. Service Teams provide routine planned maintenance and urgent repairs. We also specialize in providing teams of Engineers who are able to carry out modifications or extensions to existing systems at short notice. Formal maintenance contracts are tailored to meet individual needs that may range from an annual service visit to permanently-manned sites. Service agreements cover all types of fixed Fire Protection and Detection Systems including Hand Extinguishers and Hose Reels. In addition, we provide system inspections, audits and confidential status reports. Services Provided: Performance of planned preventive maintenance services in line with Manufacturer s recommendations and NFPA standard inclusive of : Weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual testing, service and inspection Full-time site management System service and inspection Modifications and extensions Refilling of portable Fire Extinguishers as well as Gas-based Fire Suppression Systems Training services for all systems under our solutions and services portfolio Spares and Refurbishment Calibration Maintenance of Emergency /Exit Light and Central Battery Systems Page 12 of 21

13 We also offer Online Analyser and Lab Analyser Maintenance and Support Services to the Oil & Gas, Power & Water, Industrial and Infrastructure market sectors, as we believe we can offer a service for multiple brands of systems from a single source, whereas the End-User would usually engage multiple vendors to complete the necessary service and support on a typical site. With a total size of over 10,000m 2, these facilities allow us to handle all aspects of electrical and mechanical contracts from the simplest to the most complex.

14 WORKSHOP, STORES and FACILITIES Tyco Fire & Security UAE developed its own range of facilities located at the Mussafah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. With a total size of over 10,000m 2, these facilities allow us to handle all aspects of electrical and mechanical contracts from the simplest to the most complex. Under the supervision of the Construction Manager and dedicated Supervisors, teams of skilled personnel are assigned at these facilities. They are all equipped with the necessary technical competence to perform tasks such as fabrication, painting, build, assembly, test and system verification works, tailored to our customers needs and requirements. All staff undergoes full QHSE training and follows the system and procedure standards to be able to provide the safest working environment in the facilities. MECHANICAL FABRICATION Our fabrication facility produces all the requirements for Tyco UAE s custombuilt mechanical components of our Fire Protection Systems. Manufacturing of all items are based on internally designed and produced construction packages. The facility produces fabricated, threaded and groovedpipework, welded pipe spools, pipe brackets, fire suppression system cylinder skids and enclosures, etc. for our projects for the Oil & Gas, Industrial and Power & Water marketplaces. 15 Final assembly of all Fire Protection equipment into skid-mounted/enclosures is also carried out in this facility, where they are fitted-out with the cylinders, manifolds, electrical cabling, trim boards, etc. The fabrication facility has all the required equipments to execute these major fabrication activities required for our projects. All works are in accordance with our Tyco UAE s QHSE IMS procedures. ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING WORKSHOP (PANEL MANUFACTURING) Design, assembly, programming, testing and inspection of a full range of custombuilt, fully integrated Fire Detection, Fire & Gas, CCTV, PA/VA and Data Networking Systems (DNS) panels for the Oil & Gas, Power and Industrial markets are executed at this facility. At any one time, a maximum of 40 floor-mounted panels can be accommodated at this facility, which has been expanded to meet the growing demand for the custom-built requirements of Tyco Fire & Security UAE s clients. SERVICE & REFILLING FACILITIES The Tyco UAE refilling facility in Dubai is capable of refilling cylinders for Novec 1230 and FM200 Systems, as well as servicing valves and re-pressurizing cylinders. Built based on Tyco manufacturing standards, the facility has been inspected and certified by the UAE Civil Defence Authority and is equipped with all the necessary equipments to obtain the necessary approvals. Additionally, the facility has the capability of refilling CO2 and Dry Powder Portable Fire Extinguishers to support our maintenance activity. On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi Service & Refilling located in Mussafah Industrial Area is compliant with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements for Product Agents and Installation & Service Contractors. The facility was developed as part of the continuing development of the Abu Dhabi Service Team and to address the refilling and servicing requirements in Abu Dhabi for portable extinguishers, FM200, Novec and Inergen system cylinders. Additionally, the facility also has allocation for testing and servicing areas for Fire Alarm, Fire & Gas and Fire Protection Systems. Page 17 of 21

Fire Protection equipment stocks ready for sale Regular and critical/emergency spare parts for all Fire Protection Systems Fire Detection and Alarm equipments, stocks and spares Tools and tackles for construction work Ready storage for all consumables for the operation of the workshop and site construction Inventory and movement of all the materials in and out of the facility are maintained on a day-to-day basis in a computerized manner. External training courses are also conducted for Tyco UAE s clients including, but not limited to, distributors, partners, end-users, consultants and local authorities throughout the region. The various aspects covered under these trainings are as follows: Systems and Services Trainings to aid Sales, Engineering and Service personnel with the technical knowledge of Tyco Fire & Security UAE s offerings Design Trainings which enable Engineers to design the systems in line with prevalent standards Installation Trainings to ensure the systems are installed in line with the design Maintenance Trainings that ensure the systems are maintained in line with established standards and manufacturer s guidelines Each training course is supported with up-to-date PowerPoint presentations, videos of actual fire incidents, training manuals, demo units, and manufacturer s software design packages. The successful completion of any training course is recorded by an internal attendance sheet and Training Certificates are issued to the attendees. Page 19 of 21

Regular training courses are conducted to continuously improve the knowledge level of the Engineering, Sales and Service Teams, including relevant updates about the latest technologies and products. Where further training is required by a representative of the Manufacturer, the course is coordinated and supervised by the relevant member of the Tyco UAE s operational team. Page 20 of 21
