The Tek-COM is a versatile, four-wire intercom system that can be used in residential, business, and warehouse applications or anywhere that room-to-room and door answering communications are desired. Each Tek-COM system has a total capacity of twenty stations, and includes features such as talk switches, door answering, hands-free reply, room monitoring, and individual volume controls. The amplifier s voice and chime volumes are individually adjustable. Up to ten stations can be fully on at one time. Calls are placed from inside stations by pressing the INSIDE talk button. The call is then heard at all inside stations that are turned on and not in the monitor mode. The button is released to listen for a reply. Replies are made from inside stations by pushing the INSIDE talk button. To place a call from an outside station, simply push the button to sound a chime. The tone will be heard at all inside stations that are on and not being monitored. The door is answered by pressing the OUTSIDE button at any inside station, at which time the reply from the door can be heard without external controls due to the automatic hands-free reply circuitry. 3 OR501B, OR502, OR510 Outdoor Remote Stations IL438 Section B Rev. 9-04/2002 FEATURES The OR501B, OR502 and OR510 Outdoor Remote Stations provide call capability and two-way, hands-free communication to inside master stations for a variety of TekTone systems. OR501B, OR510 OR502 ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS SPECIFICATION Outdoor remote stations shall be TekTone models OR501B, OR502, OR510, or approved equal. The stations shall be constructed of a rugged extruded aluminum panel with a momentary action push button switch for call placement. The speaker/microphone shall be 3.5" Mylar with voice frequency response for model OR502. Speaker/ microphone for models OR501B and OR510 shall be 2.5" with voice frequency response. Models OR501B and OR510 shall include push button and speaker grill constructed of durable ABS plastic. Model OR502 shall include aluminum plunger for push button actuation, and louvered panel for additional vandal protection. Screw terminals shall be provided for electrical connections. Used typically as outside door stations, the OR501B, OR502 and OR510 are rugged, dependable units designed to provide natural, clear voice communication, simple push button operation, and hands-free reply. The stations are ideal for outdoor use in office, home, plant, warehouse, retail business, penitentiary and similar applications. OR502 Stations provide vandal-resistant features for those applications requiring additional station security. Operation of the stations is simple and efficient. Pressing the call button causes an audible or audible/visual signal (depending upon system in use) at the inside master station location. The identity of the caller may then be determined and entry to the home or building permitted, if so desired, and if system in use permits. The stations shall be surface mounted with no additional housing required, and shall include a gasket material to provide resistance to weather exposure. The stations shall be constructed of a rugged extruded aluminum panel with a momentary action push button switch for call placement. End-caps for the panel shall be molded of durable ABS plastic. The speaker/ microphone shall be 45 ohm, 2.5" (64 mm) Mylar, with voice-frequency response. Models OR501S and OR510S shall include a push button and a speaker grill molded of durable ABS plastic. Model OR502S shall include an aluminum plunger for push button actuation, and a louvered panel for additional vandal protection. Screw terminals shall be provided for electrical connections. OR604A Used typically as an outside door station, the OR604A/ OR604AW are rugged, dependable units designed to provide natural, clear voice communication, simple push button operation, and hands free reply. The stations are ideal for outdoor use, in office, home, plant, warehouse, retail business, penitentiary, and similar applications. The OR604A/OR604AW are an ideal choice for low ambient light locations where the lighted call switch provides an increased visibility. Operation of the stations is simple and efficient. The caller, by pressing the call button, causes an audible signal at the inside master stations location. The identity of the caller may then be determined and entry to the home or building permitted, if so desired, and if system in use permits. 6 SS102A, SS105B, SS106 Transformers SS250 Transformer PO001 Electric Door Opener IL127 Section A Rev. 9-07/2000 SS250 SS102A SS106 SS102A, SS106 TRANSFORMERS TekTone s SS102A and SS106 Class 2 Transformers offer compact, easy-to-install low voltage AC power sources for use with various TekTone intercom systems. Both transformers are UL Listed and will safely take themselves off line when overheated. The transformers are constructed for easy installation in a standard 1/2" knockout or for surface installations, and may be used in plastic or metal boxes. Primary wire connections are made using the pre-stripped pigtails and ground wire; secondary connections are made using screw terminals. TekTone s unit installs quickly and easily to existing outlets and includes an extra long replacement screw for secure attachment to a faceplate. SS250 TRANSFORMER TekTone s SS250 Power Transformer provides a low-voltage power source for use with the Tek-VIEW Video Intercom System. The transformer provides holes for surface mounting and features enclosed connections. Primary wire connections are made using pigtails; secondary connections are made using screw terminals. The door opener can be installed in place of the door lock, or on a door jamb with various door lock sets. The PO001 is a normally locked type with heavy duty coils, and operates on 8-16 VAC or 3-6 VDC. The unit features a flat face with satin zinc finish and solid brass locking latch for long wear. Model PO001 is reversible for mortise-type locks and latches up to 1/2" width and throw and is ideal for most narrow jamb mortise-type installations.
