2 Ⅰ.Brief introduction XD W/250W medical cold light source, as the supporting of light source and other equipment, is used for deep lighting like clinical examination, operation treatment etc. II. Performance Summarize 1.The cold light source adapts to wide range voltage. Both the output voltage and the bulb intensity of illumination, color temperature keep constant stable when the network voltage in 198 V-242 V fluctuation change. There is no need to use a voltage stabilizer and extend the life of the bulb. 2. Brightness adjusting linear is excellent from strong to weak. 3. The light source is strong in anti-interference. It will neither interfere other equipment nor be interfered by other equipment. It overcomes the defect that the silicon controlled circuit is easily influenced by net electricity and other sensitive equipments. 4. The design and production of this light source strictly executes the first part of the safety requirements of medical electrical equipment GB : general requirements which is guaranteed in safety. In order to reduce fire, electric shock or personnel risk of injury, we should always obey the basic safety precautions in use. 1 Please read the instructions carefully and operate it in accordance with manual operation. 2 When replace the bulbs, you must first turn off the power switch of the light source and pull out the power cord. 3 Replacement of the fuse protector should be the same with the requirements of the following mark. 4 The light source mustn t be used directly for eyes. 2. Confirm the power supply to have a good grounding attachment. 2. Open the power switch (1) and the light source begins to work. 3. Adjusting knob (2) can control the output size of light source. 4. (3) is the light output hole and is also the connection of optical fiber. Double orifice light source should be connected with the bulb. Ⅸ Failure Judgment and Eliminating Methods (It should be operated by the professionals) Fault phenomena Fault cause Solution Turn on the power switch, the indicator is not bright, fan does not turn, the lamp is not bright. The cold light source should be placed on a stationary area with aeration during operation. The distance between the fan hole on the back of the case and the back shelter should be 15cm. 2. Patients are not allowed to touch the cold light source during operation. 3. You are forbidden to look at the optical cable end or light outlet directly with your eyes to avoid damage to them after the cold light source is switched on. 4. Do not put other articles on the machine during operation. 5. The cold light source shouldn t be violently vibrated. Move it gently. 6. The cold light source should be placed on a dry area with aeration and covered by shields. 7. The cold light source should be sterilized with an UV sterilizing lamp regularly. 8. There is high voltage circuit in the machine, non-professional

4 personnel shall not open the box. Ⅺ Replacement of bulbs 1. When replace the bulb, you should choose the same model halogen bulbs. 2. Turn off the power switch and pull out the power cord. 3. 1Loose the screw of the bottom,open the cover,cover,bulb and bulb holder,remove the cover, 2Pull out the base of bulb, 3Pull out the damaged bulb from the lamp holder, install the new bulb and screw down the screws. Show as the following picture. wetting, etc. is not within the scope of warranty.
