6 ALARM.COM OVERVIEW Alarm.com ( offers a collection of next generation monitoring and notification services designed to enhance home and business, security and automation systems. Alarm.com has worked closely with GE Security to develop a solution that is highly functional, easy to deploy, and user-friendly. Alarm.com-enabled security solutions are available today through WEBCO Security Inc. Alarm.com s technology is embedded in a 2-way radio module and is tightly integrated with GE Security Concord and Simon platforms. Whether the panel is armed or disarmed, the Alarm.com radio module listens to all sensor and panel activity in real-time as it is processed by the panel. Alarm.com s data mining application constantly analyzes this system activity data. Based on settings programmed by the WEBCO Security Inc., the application determines what data to transmit to Alarm.com for further processing. An intuitive Web-based user interface allows the end-user to maintain complete control of the system at any time. Once an Alarm.com enabled system is activated, security event data is sent wirelessly to Alarm.com s state-of-the-art Network Operations Center in McLean, Virginia. The security panel is always online with the wireless network and never has to dial up to make a connection, which makes it significantly faster than landline and cellular communication channels. Security event signals typically reach Alarm.com within seconds after a sensor reports them. Page 6 of 11

7 Alarm.com does not require a phone line or any other wired communication channel to transmit signals between the control panel and the Alarm.com Network Operations Center. Even if the phone line is cut or damaged, signals will be sent to Alarm.com and can be forwarded to a Central Station for alarm verification and if necessary, police or fire department dispatch. The Alarm.com module transmits more than just alarms. Events like doors opening and closing, motion activity, arming and disarming, and out-of-range thermostat temperatures can all be reported by the Alarm.com module based on enduser security system settings. Once activity data is stored in Alarm.com s database, Alarm.com customers can access it anytime, from any web-connected computer, PDA or phone, by logging into the website MN/. Alarm.com s stringent data security and information privacy policies assure that only the customer will be able to view this data. Alarm.com automated notifications are another great way for customers to stay connected to their security systems. Using the Alarm.com website, customers can set up customized phone and notifications. When a door opens, the system is armed, the power goes down, or any numbers of other non-alarm events are reported to Alarm.com, the customer can be alerted. 10 What is GPS Vehicle Tracking? Track fleet vehicles quickly and conveniently using GE Security s NavLogix System from WEBCO. GPS technology determines where each vehicle is located, while wireless communications relay information back to a central server. Use your web browser to view vehicle locations as well as routes, and receive real-time alerts about offtrack or speeding vehicles.
