3 CONTENTS Blackcurrant Ripple Bulb Collection, page gave us the hottest summer since 2006, and many of the pictures here were taken in that basking heat. There were good things our Zinnia trial and most of our dahlias were marvellous, but boy-oh-boy did we have to water. One of the most exciting things for me in this catalogue are the dahlia collections. We had a lovely time putting these together from our trial beds and very excitingly, now have three dahlias specially bred by us for you. Have a look at Dahlia Sarah Raven on page 14. Bulbs in the green are bulbs for planting in active growth with their leaves just beginning to die back. After three years you can then lift and divide your own and scatter them all around your garden.
