It will adapt well to a variety of soil conditions and is considered a deer-resistant perennial. This daylilly plant also makes a great container plant and works well as a cut flower as well. Cutting back Walkers Low hard after its first bloom will extend its blooming time. It should be planted in full sun, but can tolerate afternoon shade. It is very drought tolerant but does need a welldrained area. Makes an excellent border plant, great in rock gardens, good for naturalizing and in an attractive addition to ornamental herb garden. 22 Annabelle Hydrangea 4 feet 5 feet Adaptable, Tolerant Average - Moist Rounded / Oval Fast Annabelle Hydrangea is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its strikingly bold and coarse texture can be very effective when placed in a balanced landscape. This hardy, showy shrub features enormous ball-shaped white flower heads in mid summer that are excellent for cutting and contrast nicely against the dark green heart-shaped leaves.
