3 dining room MEZZANINE AND Wii BOWLING ALLEY Finding a Solution The challenging geography in addition to requirements made by the city pushed the design team to create a building that represents an urban aesthetic mixed with refined spaces that can flex from one activity to the next. The entryway immediately speaks to Shorewood sensibilities with a modern rustic feel. Behind the concierge desk, a custom art piece presents a topographical map of Shorewood, nearby Oak Leaf Trail, the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan. private dining room The adjacent bistro incorporates a mixture of bar-height, counter-height and table seating to accommodate residents and guests of all mobility levels. Sliding doors reveal a coffee shop and retail opportunity by day that transforms into a welcoming pub destination by night. Trellis detail continues outdoors, where additional seating and a putting green capture the high-demand for the outdoors during Wisconsin s beautiful summers. With a core mission of comprehensive wellness, HarborChase features an array of destinations to fuel the body, mind and spirit. A fully outfitted rehabilitation gym features exercise machines, private treatment suites, mat rooms and exam rooms. Residents can look and feel their best with high-end salon services. Eye-catching artwork gives a nod to vintage fashion and movie icons, while an ironwork retail display amplifies the destination feel and speaks to the gateway design concept. Engaging spaces continue in the mezzanine, featuring a Wii bowling alley complete with floor inlays leading to dedicated TVs. Artwork depicting historical Shorewood lines the walls leading to the restaurant. The storefront entry features two-sided iron detail that pays homage to the iron work on the nearby Milwaukee River footbridge. Seasonal, chefprepared meals in an intimate supper club setting are sure to make a big impression on Wisconsinites. The private dining room and exhibition kitchen create the perfect spot for special events. Residents and guests can experience chef demonstrations, including handmade pizzas in the wood-fire oven. Spacious assisted living suites promote privacy and independence via optimal layouts and urban views from private balconies.
