The mood is fashionably eclectic, the colours rich and various patterns, from florals to chequered. Among the highlights are products for making a cosy and functional living room, like a super-comfortable sofa family and a storage and table series made with sustainably sourced pine. To light up the home there are lamps and a shade for different types of lighting needs and looks. We re also launching a whole new range of office furniture designed for healthy working including ergonomic chairs, sit/stand desks and office storage with new functions. In addition, the month welcomes a range of patterned cushions and cushion covers, quirky decoration objects, an up-holstered chair, lyocell rugs and UTZ-certified chocolate. With a high back and generous size, LIDHULT sofa series is everything you could expect when it comes to comfort as the designer Henrik Preutz explains: When I designed LIDHULT sofa, I thought of it as a fluffy cream cake. Round and soft, inviting and nice. The sofa s extra high back support, comfortable neck cushion and soft armrests are perfect for TV-watching marathons, cosy relaxing with the family or maybe for napping. We worked a great deal with all details to make LIDHULT as comfortable as possible. I think that the feeling is a little bit like being hugged! Though traditional in style, it comes with all modern functions such as the flexibility to create your own sofa combination such as a two or three-seater sofa, a corner sofa, chaise longue or armchair. Plus, it s possible to add storage without taking away from the design. The sofa series comes available in a range of gorgeous fabric covers such as light beige, red/brown, grey/black, as well as a dark brown leather/coated fabric cover. In light or dark grey, the rugs have a lively monochrome pattern that coordinates easily with different interiors and with each other. Made with 100% lyocell, it s the first time we have use this natural fibre in our rugs at IKEA. Lyocell is a renewable material made from wood pulp. It has very strong fibres and as a material it uses less water and chemicals in its production. The traditionalstyled units in solid wood offer the flexibility to build solutions for different needs, horizontally and vertically. There are cabinets with open and closed storage or units that can be used as standalones to fit smaller spaces. Sliding door functions add smartness to limited spaces, whilst glass shelves give a refined touch. Made of solid pine with crafted details, the series is in-spired by traditional Scandinavian furniture based on practicality and simplicity. All wood used in HAVSTA comes from sustainable sources, which we define as FSC-certi-fied or recycled wood.
