4 toll free Configurations Metal Fixtures Straight Rail Flexible Rail Floor to Fixture Height [8 ft. ceiling] The distance between the fixtures on your Lumiere lighting track and the floor varies depending on the size of the fixture and the length of the stems connecting the track to the ceiling. Lumiere stems are, or 12 lengths. For optimum clearance and safety, Lumiere Systems should be installed with a minimum clearance of 7 feet between fixture and floor. For example, in a room with 8 foot ceiling: stem fixture [a] [b] stem+fixture [a+b] floor to fixture = = = = [a] [b] ceiling track For ceilings higher than 8 ft., add the additional height to calculate floor-to-fixture distance.

The flexible and straight tracks can not be connected. When placing online orders please ensure that the fixtures you choose are the proper SKU number for your chosen track. 9 toll free Overview Important Safety Instructions When installing or using this track system, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: A] Read all instructions. B] This track system must be installed utilizing the canopy and connectors for mounting over a ceiling outlet box. C] Do not install this track in damp or wet locations. D] Do not install any part of a track system less than 5 feet above the floor. E] Do not install any fixture assembly closer than 6 inches from any curtain, or similar combustible material. F] Use MR16 type lamps, 50-watt maximum with 300-watt transformer. G] Disconnect electrical power before adding to or changing the configuration of the track. H] Do not attempt to power anything other than 12V Track Lighting fixtures on the track. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not attempt to connect power tools, extension cords, appliances and the like to the track. I] If you plan to install a dimmer, do so after the 12V system has been installed to reduce the risk of damage to the system. We recommend using a Lutron lowvoltage dimmer suitable for the transformer being used in your particular installation(i.e. Electronic low-voltage dimmer for electronic transformers, Magnetic low-voltage dimmer for magnetic transformers).
