Here are a few example of how we have successfully transformed outdoor spaces, creating areas to promote discovery of the senses, nature and different materials. Providing Fully Inclusive Play The Brief: To create a playspace that enables both able and disabled environment. Taking into consideration the varying needs of the children at the hospice, we developed bespoke and totally unique solutions to stimulate the key areas of learning and play, from social to sensory through to physical and energetic play. The playground is divided into areas for high energy play and quieter seating areas for relaxing. The large Play Ship and bespoke decking area form the main focal point surrounded by a musical area and quiet seating area, Wheelchair Swing and Satellite Carousel. The bright blue Wetpour Rubber unites the playground and provides an all weather safety surface. 57 Early Years Exploring Environment The Brief: To transform a previously unusable space into a colourful and stimulating play environment for the Early Years children at Corpus Christi Primary. The combination of Synthetic Grass and Wetpour Rubber surfacing ensures children can play outdoors in all weathers. The play equipment has been specially selected to stimulate the senses and encourage imaginative and active play. Schoolscapes have undertaken two large projects on behalf of Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School in the last 18 months. On both occasions from the initial contact through the design and installation processes they were always informative, in contact with have been friendly and very approachable. We would be very happy to use and recommend Schoolscapes in the future.
