2 INTRODUCTION Silhouette s and designers is a growing architectural consultancy firm. We offer complete architectural design solutions for the built spaces, its interiors and the surrounding landscape. This includes both design and co ordination during execution. We are involved in a variety of projects in residential, commercial, hospitality, health and industrial categories of various scales in and around Pune and over the past decade and have accumulated an appreciable number of satisfied clients, many of whom are offering us repeated assignments. As an architect associate of Unison Project Management Pvt. Ltd. we have been involved in Urban Design projects related to up gradation and design of pilgrimage and tourist centers and Township master plans apart from large scale architectural projects. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NAME Silhouette is the form that appears as a dark bold outline when seen against light from behind. e.g., the skyline seen during sunset is a sight that stirs ones mood, senses and emotions. This dramatic form or outline, metaphorically the vision for any design is of primary importance to a sensitive designer. Once this is well achieved the details follow automatically and unfold with more light from front.

3 DESIGN PHILOSOPHY We strive to achieve the right amalgamation of the functional aspect of a space with aesthetic principles. The design concepts are contemporary and the created spaces are interesting, imaginative and characterized by simplicity and clean lines without any clutter. The elements of nature like sun and shadow, water and greenery are an integral part of the indoors wherever possible. The setting of a site and the purpose the space plays an vital role in making design decisions. The attempt is towards characterizing the space with a quality that would reflect the personality of the ones it belongs to and the purpose it is going to serve. Our endevours will reach a fulfillment when we are successful in creating spaces that are not only designed correctly but that stir ones senses. Design to us is more of a passion than a business. PROFFESSIONAL CAPABILITY 1.Analysis of the site and preparation of a project brief or project report along with a preliminary estimate. 2. Conceptualization of the design 3. Development of a design with inputs from the client and relevant technical fields 4. Preparation of drawings for sanctions from the local authority and provide technical assistance for liaison (Sanction, plinth checking, completion) 5. Preparation of working drawings both architectural and structural. 6. Preparation of working details. 7. Selection of materials through catalogues or through display at showrooms with the clients. 8. Preparation of bill of quantities. 9. Periodic site visits to check the progress of work as per drawings. 10. Co ordination with material suppliers (only in case of Interior Design projects)

5 EDUCATION 1995 Post Graduation in Urban Design from C.E.P.T (Ahmedabad) Awards Sir Patrick Geddes Award of Excellence Gold Medal for the Best Graduating Student in Urban Design Final Year Design Projects: 1. Habitat Study: Urban Renewal at Mahal, Nagpur. This included documentation and analysis of the historic segment of Nagpur city, which evolved under the Bhosales. The conclusions from the learning were applied to propose an urban renewal scheme for this predominantly residential area, to accommodate the present day pressures, diverse values etc, while keeping intact the positive aspects of the past. 2.
