2 WHY RETREAT CENTRE & GUEST HOUSE? Our vision is to bring a constant and sustainable support for the children s home. With this Retreat Centre & Guest House we could have stable incomes to support children living in WIDE family and complement the support that we get from donators. I want to join military. 4 ABOUT THE LOCATION Tiruvannamalai, Sounth India: The city is known for everlasting peace and divinity because of the presence of Lord Shiva in two forms: as the holy mountain of Arunachala and as the holy shrine of Lord Arunachaleswara. There are also the Ashrams of the world-famous saint Ramana Maharishi and of Yogi Ram Surat Kumar. Some events also have been very famous in Tiruvannamalai: Deepam at the end of the year (November, December) and the Full Moon every month. The city is also very popular place for different Satsangs and retreats (Yoga, Advaita/Non-Duality). Every year 1-2 million tourists from different countries visit this holy place for peace and silence. Visitors find it s silent environment and very natural atmosphere appealing.

5 THE VIEW OF OUR LAND AND LOCATION It takes 15 min. to go to the main temple by car or rickshaw from the land, and 20 min. - to the WIDE Children s Home. On the east of the land there is a wooded hedge which is a refuge for many animals. This part doesn t belong to us (it is governmental part) but we want to preserve it at best. There is also a pit for rainwater. They are participants of natural landscaping.
