1 Kenmore Soccer News Volume 11, Number 11 Kenmore/Tonawanda, New York November 2018 Indoor Schedules Posted to Web Site Sessions Start on November 11th Team Training and Academy schedules have been posted to the Club web site at via links on the Teams and Schedules page. A few reminders: We are guests in school facilities. Our use is restricted to the gymnasiums and hallways that lead from parking lots to the gymnasiums. If schools are closed due to inclement weather or other emergencies, all activities for that evening are automatically cancelled. The gymnasium space at the end of each usage must be returned to the same condition as when our usage began. Please help us maintain the excellent working relationship we have with the school district by meeting these rules. Thanks! Where Are They Now? There is a myth, promulgated by several clubs that offer premier soccer, that you can only play college soccer if you play for them. Many Kenmore players will tell you the truth.playing in college depends solely on your commitment, skill, and determination. 2 Elite Program Expands for Kenmore Soccer is pleased to announce that its Elite program has expanded for the season, with the addition of 12 and Under and 14 and Under Girls teams. These teams will begin play at Sahlen s Sports Park, with the 14 team playing in the Super series, and the 12 team playing in the Winter B session. In addition, the 14 and Under Boys Kenmore Blue Devils have moved into the Elite program, and will be competing in higher level competitions this season. With the addition of new playing fields provided by the Town of Tonawanda, the use of the new school district turf fields, and the expansion of the Elite program, Kenmore Soccer continues to be the leader in soccer in the Kenmore-Tonawanda community. Uniform Fitting Night Monday November 19th Most teams will be retaining the Joma kits that were selected last season as our new standard, but those who require replacement pieces will have the opportunity to either order on-line, or attend the fitting night for new players. Fittings for new players will be held on Monday November 19th in the Activity Center at Trinity United Methodist Church at 711 Niagara Falls Blvd (near Longmeadow) between 6:30 and 8:30pm. Your order can be placed at that time, and invoicing will be done through the web site. We will also have samples of apparel available that evening for those who are interested in purchasing warm-ups, jackets, backpacks, etc. 2

4 Registration Still Open for Season Registration for the season is now open on-line through our web site at As with past years, we guaranteed placement on the Kenmore Soccer travel team for all returning players who registered by July 15th. Roster spots remaining open after that date are being filled with new registrations. Apparel Orders Our Joma apparel is shown on the web site, with a link for placing an order. Orders are placed on the 1st and 15th of each month and parents are invoiced through the web site.
