2 Electric Barrel and Container Pumps Barrel pumps are lightweight, handy and extremely powerful devices suitable for transferring thin to low viscous, neutral or corrosive liquids. Designed for portable and static use the pumps are particularly suitable for intermittent operation. The state-of-the-art and yet simple technical design assures sound and reliable operation. Because of our modular concept every motor can be combined with every pump tube. For different applications depending on the liquids, pump tubes are available in PP, PVDF, SS 316Ti and Aluminium. The pump tubes are connected to the motor via a hand-wheel and can be fitted and removed with a few rotations fast and easy without the need of any special tools. Pump tubes with axial-flow rotor will be used for high delivery rate and low head. Pump tubes with radial-flow impeller are the right choice for low delivery rate with high head. Their state-of-the-art and yet simple technical design assures sound and reliable operation. Because of our modular concept every motor can be combined with every pump tube. Designed for portable and static use, the pumps are particularly suitable for intermittent operation. Those pumps fitted with compressed air motors and stainless steel pump tubes provide a particulary high level of safety when pumping or filling lightly flammable liquids of various danger classes from one container to another.
