Stainless steel Stainless steel is the classic choice of many interior designers, builders and kitchen specialists. The stainless steel used in the production of BLANCO sinks is of the highest quality 18/10 Nickel Steel. The grade is selected to provide reliability and to ensure that the attractive appearance with the minimum of maintenance is retained for year after year. SILGRANIT PuraDur II If you prefer a splash of colour you may prefer a Silgranit sink. The Undermount range provides a wide choice of models available in a choice of colours each carefully selected by our designers to co-ordinate with the latest trends in kitchens. Silgranit is a remarkable material manufactured from 80% natural granite minerals which are bonded by a high quality acrylic resin. This process creates a sink centre of unsurpassed hardness which is scratch and heat resistant to 280 c. The non-porous surface is easy to clean, completely hygienic and approved for food contact. The sink will not fade in direct sunlight, providing a distinct feature that will add lasting appeal to any kitchen. Ceramic PuraPlus BLANCO Ceramic sinks are fashioned in fine fireclay ceramic. The material is denser and heavier than traditional vitreous china made from clay. The finished sink is therefore more durable and hardworking, providing a truly high quality finish. The BLANCOEYE has been selected for its reputation of reliability and its ability to function on most Plumbing systems. With its dual flow delivery of water the tap will work on both traditional `gravity supply and modern pressurised water systems without compromise. For long life and extra reliability the body, base, handles and spout are all fashioned in metal with a tough chrome finish for easy cleaning. Tap upgrades In addition to the regular BLANCOEYE tap we have included a selection of new tap upgrade possibilities. The range includes the new BLANCOCITY tap (upgrade at no extra cost). For a statement of style the BLANCOSPIRE monobloc tap with individual control of hot and cold water or if your prefer select one of the new European Style single lever control models. Other possibilities are pull out hand sets to make rinsing easier and our latest BLANCOFILTRA models designed to provide fresh filtered drinking water direct from your mains supply. Food disposers A growing concern to us all is food waste, it is estimated that over 60% of all household waste is waste food from preparation and left overs. One solution to effectively dispose of unwanted food is to fit your new kitchen sink with a waste disposer. The disposer is fitted in the sink waste and acts to shred food into small particles which are rinsed away with the waste water. Just consider no more bin smells in the summer and less time required for wrapping up unwanted food for safe disposal.
