4 1.2 Usage and feature of machine This machine is chiefly used to edge on man-made board by linearly and curvilinear edging band. such as flakeboard, thin woodworking board, mid-density fibre board,etc This machine is manual edging machine with downward glue pot, gelatinize for edging band and workpiece meanwhile. And, the quantity of glue is adjusted by requirement Epend on different hot melting glue, this machine can choose any temperature and adopt constant temperature control to guarantee the reliability of glue liquid. This machine adopt frequency conversion technology,which can set stepless adjusting speed for entering speed of edging band and gelatinizing roller This machine adopts high precision worm wheel reducing speed motor. Small noise, steady moving, light weight, long longevity This machine adopts high precision worm wheel reducing speed motor. Small noise, steady moving, light weight, long longevity This machine installs the pressing band set of adjusting horizontally and vertically This machine have set of length control.when edging curve, edging band will be automatically cut accord with chosen length This machine own the function of double sides gelatinizing band firmly The surface of worktable is very tidy, which adopt downward glue pot, and the glue liquid won't be out of surface The machine have the merits of small measurement and general performance, extensive use range etc, which is the preferred products to varieties of board furniture manufacturer.

6 3.SAFTY This instruction book is a important file for guiding operator to run the machine safely, rightly, and economically.obeying this file is good to avoid danger, reduce repairing cost, release time of stopping production, and protract its life. 3.1 Qualification of operator Before the first operation, operator must pass strict technology training. The operator must be confirmed by the improvement of chief department The operator must read carefully and abide with the relative requirements of manual. 3.2 Secure rules It needs enough crane to load and unload machinery Abide with all the security notice of machine It is necessary to check the whole security before operation, make sure the security of electrical, pneumatic and other parts can work precisely Use this machine within the operation range Put machine on firm and horizontal ground and rivet Machine should be turned off and cut the electrical and air supply when Operator leave a long time According different glue, select proper heating temperature to avoid overheating When melting the glue, abide with operation process of heating-heat Preservation-heating. Make sure all of the glue inside the machine melt, still need 15 minutes later to run the machine Choose appropriate rotate speed of gelatinizing roller. This machine has the function of stepless adjusting speed, but it is better start from low to necessary speed, to avoid damaging machine parts For avoiding scalding, operator don't touch the melting glue liquid Only after turn off power supply and air supply, operator are allowed to repair and adjust the machine Keep alert, tired operator are not allowed to operate the machine.

7 4.Transportation, package and storage of machine 4.1 Be careful to carry machine with crane, not incline or inversion. 4.2 Package way depend on the transportation ways and distance, execute it according to contract. 4.3 If client don't install the machine at once, machine should be put in dry,dustproof, moisture proof, rainproof place. Repaint repellent on machine surface when it is stored above half a year. 5.Installation and adjustment of machine 5.1 Installation (see fig 5.1) Get rid of the contacting bolt when transportation, remove to installing place with forklift or crane, the floor must be firm and flat. Fix it after adjust by gradienter Fix the edge carrying plate support arm (1) and supporting arm (2) on the right lower side of the working table. (See fig 5.3) Fig 5.3

9 5.2 Electric connection The machine should be connected to a wire not less than 2.5mm 2. and this must be operated by expert personnel The wire must be earthed Connection ways(see fig 5.4) Fig Check the wire is connected well and firmly. 5.3 Pneumatic connection and adjustment (see fig 5.5) Fig Connect the outlet pipe of air compressor to pneumatic adjustment via switch Fill the tank 6 with oil for 1/3-2/3 of its capacity Suggest using ISOVG32 or same level oil Turn the valve 2 and make sure the pre-ssure showed on the gauge 3 to be Mpa Adjust the valve and make sure the gauge which on the right sides of the machine to be Mpa If there is condensed water inside the tank 4, Push the button 5 on the tank lower side to discharge it.

10 5.4 preparing work Fill the glue tank with proper glue for 3/5 of its capacity Turn on the main switch.(see fig 5.6) Power Switch Fig Adjust the temperature indicator and set it according to the kind of glue. Adjust the limiting block a lit higher than the belt and make the belt easily moving. Then lock the screw Adjustment of main pressing roller (see fig 6.2) B A 5 Fig 6.2 There are two nut A,B inside the pressing roller shaft. Release nut A and adjust nut B make the roller a lit higher than the belt,then lock nut A.

Adjust to the proper gap, then lock screw 4. d. release 2, can make base 1 drives pressing belt system go backward or turning.

13 6.5 Adjustment of applied glue quantity.(see fig 6.4) Fig The glue quantity is controlled by handle 1 and handle 2. Release screw 5,turn handle 1 via connecting bar 3 drives adjusting roller 7, can change the quantityof the glue on the panel. Lock the screw 5 can keep the situation Release screw 6,turn handle 2 via connecting bar 4 drives adjusting roller 8, can change the quantity of the glue on thebelt. Lock the screw 6 can keep the situation The glue roller for belt turns in anti clockwise.the glue of roller for panel turns in clockwise. 6.6 Adjustment for straight and curve panel.(see fig 6.5) Fig 6.5

14 6.6.1 Straight panel: Position the switch curve-beeline 5 in beeline. Bring the panel against the Infeed fence till arrive to touch switch 6,which will start edging, the belt will be pressed on panel when it arrives to pressing roller 4, and it will be more steady after pressed by three small pressing roller 10. When released,the switch 6 will control the edge cuter curved panel (see fig 6.5) Position the switch curve-beeline 5 in curve position. Remove the three small pressing roller 10 and set the length controller according to the perimeter of the panel Trample the pedal 9 slightly, belt will be fed in, it will be cut automatically when reaches setting figure. The belt will be pressed with the panel firmly by pressing roller Use of tilting table(see fig 6.6) Fig When tilting table 5 is in horizontal position, diagonal side will be edged: Release nut 3,lift up tilting table 5,turn round arc groove which connected on the arm 4 to required angle, then lock nut 3. Push the tilting table 5 forward along sliding base 1 approaches to glue base 6 until the panel can touch the glue roller which inside the pad 7 and base Pull the tilting table 5 in horizontal along base 1 can reach to MAX 180mm. 6.8 Start up the machine After the power and pressure source are connected well, (see fig 1.1) turn on the switch 1, the lamp 2 will light, the glue start melting. Turn off the switch 1,or press emergency switch 6 in emergency situation, the machine will stop. 4

15 7.Maintenance of machine 7.1 Maintenance of machine Disconnect the power and air source before any maintenance Tidy and clean machine and surroundings after each team use Check the mechanical and electrical spare parts are in good situation before working Add lubricant on chain bar and chain wheel each 3 months Change new lubricant of worm wheel reducer after 400 hours working for the first time. The normal cycle is 4000h/each time.the model of lubricant is WA Troubles shooting guide.
