6 4 Opertion Airflow diretion When. Adjust the irflow diretion s desired. Wht. The system direts the irflow differently, depending on the user seletion (swinging or fixed position). If the upper or lower diretion is seleted, Comfort irflow opertion will e nelled. Stys in fixed position. CAUTION 1 ALWAYS use user interfe to djust the ngles of the flp. When the flp is swinging nd you move it forily y hnd, the mehnism will rek. Be reful when djusting the louvers. Inside the ir outlet, fn is rotting t high speed. Note: The movle rnge of the flp vries ording to the opertion mode. The flp will stop t the upper position when the irflow rte is hnged to low during the up nd down swing setting. This funtion is useful for ses in whih ttention should e pid to ensure iruit reker will not trip when the produt runs longside other pplines. If the doors nd windows remin open, ir will flow out of your room using derese in the ooling or heting effet. Be reful NOT to ool or het too muh. To sve energy, keep the temperture setting t moderte level. NEVER ple ojets ner the ir inlet or the ir outlet of the unit. Doing so my use redued heting/ooling effet or stop opertion. Turn off the min power supply swith to the unit when the unit is NOT used for longer periods of time. If the min power supply swith is on, the unit onsumes eletriity. Before restrting the unit, turn on the min power supply swith 6 hours efore opertion to ensure smooth running. Condenstion my form if the humidity is ove 80% or if the drin outlet gets loked. Adjust the room temperture properly for omfortle environment. Avoid exessive heting or ooling. Notie tht it my tke some time for the room temperture to reh the set temperture. Consider using the timer setting options. Adjust the ir flow diretion to void ool ir from gthering on the floor or wrm ir ginst the eiling. If it is diffiult to remove stins, use wter or neutrl detergent. 6.4 Aout the ir filter Operting the unit with dirty filters mens tht the filter: CANNOT deodorize the ir, CANNOT len the ir, poor heting/ooling, uses odour. 6.5 To len the ir filters 1 Open the front pnel. If the dust does NOT ome off esily, wsh them with neutrl detergent diluted in lukewrm wter. Dry the ir filters in the shde. It is reommended to len the ir filters every 2 weeks. 6.6 To tke following items into ount efore long idle period Operte the unit in fn only mode for severl hours to dry the inside of the unit. 1 Press nd selet fn only opertion. 2 Push the t t the entre of eh ir filter, then pull it down. 3 Pull out the ir filters. 2 Press to strt opertion. 3 After opertion stops, turn the reker off. 4 Clen the ir filters nd reple them in their originl position. 5 Remove the tteries from the user interfe. In ertin operting onditions the inside of the unit my get dirty fter severl sesons of use. This results in poor performne. 7 Trouleshooting If one of the following mlfuntions our, tke the mesures shown elow nd ontt your deler. Stop opertion nd shut off the power if nything unusul ours (urning smells et.). Leving the unit running under suh irumstnes my use rekge, eletri shok or fire. Contt your deler. The system MUST e repired y qulified servie person: Mlfuntion If sfety devie suh s fuse, reker or n erth lekge reker frequently tutes or the ON/OFF swith does NOT properly work. If wter leks from the unit. The opertion swith does NOT work well. If the user interfe disply indites the unit numer, the opertion lmp flshes nd the mlfuntion ode ppers. Mesure Turn OFF the min power swith. Stop the opertion. Turn OFF the power supply. Notify your instller nd report the mlfuntion ode. If the system does NOT properly operte exept for the ove mentioned ses nd none of the ove mentioned mlfuntions is evident, investigte the system ording to the following proedures. Chek the tteries of the user interfe. Chek if the trnsmitter is NOT exposed to diret sunlight. Chek if there re ny eletroni strter type fluoresent lmps in the room. Contt your deler.
