1 ** Notice of Joint Technical Visit** Title: Technical Visit to Central Fireboat Station and a Fireboat of the Fire Services Department on 27 th August 2016 (Saturday) Central Fireboat Station and the Fireboat The Central Fireboat Station is located inside Central Government Pier, 32 Man Fai Street, Central, Hong Kong. Various government departments use this pier. The Central Fireboat Station only occupies one side of the pier. There are two major fireboats in the Fire Services Department and they are the Fireboat No.1 Elite and the Fireboat No.6 Excellence. One of these two fireboats will berth at the Central Fireboat Station and standby to provide fire and rescue services in the Victoria Harbour and nearby areas.

Pumping capacity: 3 x 40,000 = 120,000 litres per minute. Speed: 15 knots.

(See attached map) Central Fireboat Station and the fireboat that berthed there. 10:00 to 12:00 Visiting the Central Fireboat Station and a Fireboat Registration & Enquiries : This technical visit is free of charge and prior registration is required on first-come first-served basis. Participants are required to observe the terms and conditions of the visit as stipulated by the Fire Services Department (FSD) in the attached letter from FSD. Participants (especially for those members who bring their children to join the visit) are also strongly advised to purchase private insurance protection at their own costs to suit individual s specific needs and circumstances. The number of participants of this technical visit is limited to 30 persons including any children.
