Functional specifications The MC 785T KLIMA has the following control functions: cooling, heating, dehumidifying and humidifying. Further more the controller has an alarm relay, which is activated when the alarm levels are exceeded or a sensor is broken. The MC 785T KLIMA has two analogue P(I)outputs with a range from /+1Vdc. The function from these outputs are programmable as measuring signal, set point signal or a P(I) control for the cooling, heating, humidifying or dehumidifying. The controller has a digital inputs contact for an external alarm. The selection of the above mentioned settings is done through the Internal Parameters.

MC 785TKLIMA Client : General Page : 5 from Control During normal operation the upper displays shows the measured temperature and measured relative humidity and the lower displays shows the temperature set point and the RH set point. Changing the temperature set point. Push the SET key next to the temperature set point display. The set point starts flashing. The set point can be changed with the UP and DWN key. By pushing the SET key once again, the set point shows continuously in the display. Changing of the RH set point. Push the SET key next to the RH set point display. The set point starts flashing and can be changed with the UP or DWN keys. By pressing the SET key again the set point appears continuously in the display. Resetting the alarm. As soon as an alarm situation occurs a failure message appears on the temperature display. With the RESET ALARM key, the alarm be reset. The error message remains in the display, till the cause of the failure is solved. External alarm input. If the external alarm input is closed, an alarm message appears in the display. The alarm relay is activated. By pressing the ALARM RESET key, the alarm relay can be reset. The error message remains in the display, until the external alarm input is opened again. Viewing and changing the time and day adjustments. By pushing the CLCK key, the current time will be visible. The time can be adjusted with the UP and DWN keys. With the N/FF key the day can be changed quickly. Starting and stopping from the adjusted week program. By pushing the START/STP key the program can be started or stoped. The LED above this key will be on if the program is running. The LED s 1 and 2 indicates which set point is active. The LED s (mo till su) above the measured value, are shown the current day. Be aware!! If the program is running only the active temperature and humidity set points can be changed by pushing the SET key simultaneously with the UP or DWN key.

To enter the programming mode from the week clock the PRG key should be pushed first and after that the CLCK key should also be pushed. n the CLCKdisplay (also RH display) appears the 1 e switch on time (monday LED ma is on) and the temperature (measured value) display turned off. n the temperature set point display (lower left) and the humidity set point display (lower right) are the belonging adjusted set points visible and also the LED s 1 besides the set points are on indicating which set point is shown. It is possible to jump to the next switch on time by pushing the PRG key. This will be the 2 nd time from the same day. After this the first switch on time of the next day can be adjusted. Etc. etc etc. Changing the switching time: The shown time can be adjusted by pushing the CLCK key simultaneously with the UP or DWN key. Changing temperature set point: The adjusted value can be changed by pushing the SET C key simultaneously with the UP or DWN key. Changing humidity set point: The adjusted value can be changed by pushing the SET key simultaneously with the UP or DWN key. With the PRG key the next adjustment can be made. After pushing the PRG key for the last time, the programming from the week clock will stop. An other way to stop the programming is, to touch no key for 3 seconds or pushing the N/FF key. Be aware!! Two switching times can be programmed for each day and each switch time has it own temperature set point and humidity set point. This makes a maximum of 14 switching times.

MC 785TKLIMA Client : General Page : 7 from Programming internal parameters By pressing the PRG and RESET ALARM key at the same time for more than 5 seconds, the Internal Parameter menu is entered. n the display appears a P with a number behind it. With the UP or DWN key the required parameter is selected. The parameter can be read out by pushing the PRG key. By simultaneously pressing the PRG with the UP or DWN key, the value can be adjusted. After releasing the keys, the parameter number appears again in the display. If no key is pushed for 3 seconds, the display turns back to the normal operation mode. Parameter table. The cooling (RY5) switches on if the temperature is higher than the set point + offset cooling + differential cooling and switches off if the temperature is lower than the set point + offset cooling. The heating (RY4) switches on if the temperature is lower than the set point + offset heating differentie heating and switches off if the temperature is lower than the set point + offset heating. Working from the dehumidifying and humidifying The dehumidifying (RY2) switches if the RH is higher than the set point + offset dehumidifying + differential dehumidifying and switches off if the RH is lower than the set point + offset dehumidifying. The humidifying (RY3) switches on if the RH is lower than the set point + offset humidifying differential humidifying and switches off if the RH is lower than the set point + offset humidifying.

10 User manual Document nr. : 8626 Version : V1. MC 785TKLIMA Client : General Page : 1 from Sensor calibration With parameters P1 and P11 it is possible to calibrate the temperature and RH sensor. If the temperaturesensor shows,2 C to much, than the according sensoroffset must be lowered with,2 C. 7. Alarms If the extra relay is programmed as a fale safe alarm, than the relay is always energized and when an alarm occurs the relay will deenergized. Because of this there will also be an alarm if the supply voltage fails. If the extra relay is programmed as a control alarm, than the relay is always deenergized and when an alarm occurs the relay will energized. During alarm the alarm LED on the front flashes. Depending of the internal parameters the control will stop or continue. An alarm can be caused by: Temperature alarm : RH alarm : External alarm : Sensor failure : tl = Minimum temperature alarm thi = Maximum temperature alarm rl = Minimum RH alarm rhi = Maximum RH alarm F1 = External alarm E1 = Temperature sensor defect E2 = RH sensor defect The temperature alarm messages tl, thi, E1 and the external alarm message F1 will appear on the temperature display (upper left). The RHalarm messages rl, rhi and E2 will appear on the RHdisplay (upper right). By pushing the RESET ALARM key the alarm relay will be reset. The error message stays on the display as long as the alarm is there. Also the alarm LED stays flashing.
