Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Davron Equipment is an ASIB approved installer of fire pump and associated equipment. Davron Equipment also offer equipment conforming to SANS, LPCB, EN 12845, VdS, NFPA 20 standard with FM-UL approval. 2 Davron Service & Maintenance was established in 1997 as a sister company to Davron Equipment, with the aim of providing all clients with assistance on the s ervice and repair of existing fire pump installations as well as installations installed by Davron Equipment. Today Davron Service and Maintenance do service, repairs, upgrades and refurbishment on equipment supplied by Davron Equipment as well as most other pump suppliers. 8 DAVRON TRAINING FACILITY Davron invest in their staff, as they believe their staff are key to the company mission. Well trained staff will be motivated, confident and able to provide the clients with the required service levels. Davron put together a training facility, with the aim of providing hands on training to all staff, ensuring that they are well trained and fully aware of the Davon standards which are to be delivered at site. Our training room is set up in a similar manner to an actual pump room. Panels installed are powered up, and are connected to electrically driven pumps. The pumps are set up to simulate the operation of the electrical, diesel and jockey pumps at site, and we also simulate the operation of floats and the auto start arrangement. We believe that the set up will help all attendee s fully understand how the pumps and associated equipment operate in a pump room. 8

DAVRON TEST FACILITY As part of Davrons commitment to the industry to continually improve on its service levels, in 2015 it became apparent that there was a need to be able to test pumps ourselves.

To further improve on service levels to our customers, it was necessary to be able to test and verify pump performance, without having long delays in booking test dates. Davron set out to build their own test bay, and the test bay was launched in March The Davron test bay comprises a litre tank, and allows us to comfortably test pumps with flows up to 1100 m3/h ( l/min). 9

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE Davron Service & Maintenance specializes in the inspection, servicing, repairs and refurbishment of sprinkler and hydrant

Inspection includes: Weekly, monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly and yearly inspections of the fire pump set installation.

Servicing Includes: Yearly service on the diesel engine, electric motor, pumps and all associated electrical equipment, replacing oils,
