INDUSTRY FIREFIGHTING NETWORK SYSTEMS AND WET NETWORKS Wet Network Systems and Firefighting Networks are the set of measures laid down in to protect plants against the action of fire. With these measures it pretends to minimize economic losses caused by the incident and ensure that the activities of the production process can be reassumed as speedily.

To install the network to the Oxygen Plant, major event was determined as a loss in any of the facilities. For this case, proposed a reserve water tank, to keep for two hours the consumption of the systems used in extinguishing the fire using two 250 gpm monitors. Note that in this plant did not exist fuel tanks to protect, however, for existing fuel tanks in the foundry was considered a Detection and Termination Automatic System. Also added new ponds, a water of 810 m3 and a foam (bladder tank) of 1,100 gallons. We also performed the replacement of pipes matrices across the line of existing foam system. Existing monitors were modified with the installation of new hydraulic automatic monitoring of action to complete the amount required for coverage of all areas of risk. Moreover, were removed sprinklers (sprinklers) closed mixer-decanters tanks Train A and foam cameras were installed in these tanks. It installed a detector system UV / IR and temperature in tank mixers, decanters, coalescing organic solvent electrolyte. It also made the installation of CCTV, distributed throughout the plant and tanks mixer-decanters.
