Eligibility process underway *$4,000 max grant per home Housing Finance & Community Redevelopment September 2018 Minor Home Repair Broward County Housing Finance & Community Development accepted applications for its Minor Home Repair from eligible Broward residents starting Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Applications processed on a first come/first qualified basis. Broadview Pocket Park Improvements Planned improvements include construction of jogging/walking path, fencing, site furnishing, landscaping and an irrigation system. Conceptual design is complete. The Planning and Development Management Division worked with the Broadview Park Civic Association to identify potential projects to fund with the approximately $170,000 being paid to Broward County for use of its easement along Florida s Turnpike. The proposed project is a pocket park located at 1955 SW 50th Avenue. Highway Construction and Engineering Division December 2017 $470,000 Sunview Park Improvements Planned improvements include construction of a 3,000 square foot building with offices, restrooms, computer room, warming kitchen and assembly hall. A new playground will also be constructed. Construction of the new playground anticipated to begin in September 2016 and will follow with building construction in 2017. Highway Construction and Engineering Division December 2017 Design is underway and is approximately 90% complete. $1,480,000 3 BROADVIEW PARK PROJECTS FEBRUARY 2017

Parks facilities Improvements ON-GOING $50,000 budgeted for improvements at six BMSD parks: one park in Broadview September 2017 $8,000 Fire Station 23 Approximately 2,500 square feet of renovations. Improvements include creation of separate sleeping quarters (male and female), new ADA restrooms, new air conditioning unit and water heater, overall ADA improvements, minor structural repairs and installation of a new fire alarm system, landscaping, new driveway and painting Facilities Maintenance March 2017 $300,000 Construction nearly 100% Complete 4 BROADVIEW PARK PROJECTS FEBRUARY 2017

Streetlights Pilot Program Traffic Engineering Division (TED) and Florida Power and Light (FPL) collaborating on Pilot program to improve / provide streetlighing as needed in Broadview Park. Traffic Engineering Winter 2017 Potential residential area for the pilot program identified. TED and FPL are collaborating on plat and parcel data for preliminary design. Pilot program and project scope being defined Wildfire Cameras Installations Multi-agency and vendor (Wildfire) collaboration underway to install surveillance cameras along public streets and highways. Optimal camera locations identified. Eight of twenty-one cameras to be installed in Broadview Park. Total Project estimate $320,000. Wrap Traffic Signal Boxes Planned improvements include wrapping approximately nine signal boxes/ cabinets within or abutting BMSD with art wrap that is graffiti and adhesive resistant. Artist selected through the Public Art selection process. Artwork to be complimentary and reflective of surrounding neighborhoods. Traffic Engineering Cultural Summer 2017 $4,000 Final Approval of Selected Artist Pending Solar Lights at SW 49 Ave Entryway Sign Two commercial solar floodlights to illuminate the Broadview Park neighborhood sign at the SW 49 Ave entryway Parks & February 2017 $1995 Neighborhood Signs Improvement Repair / Replace BMSD Neighborhood Signs as needed.
