This would normally be a challenge for a standard radiator valve. But, thankfully, our little egg didn t have to worry. The Eclipse TRV not only provided it with the temperature it needed, but the advanced hydronic balancing system was so quiet that our little egg was left to hatch in peace. 4 Setting a new technical standard Eclipse offers an optimally balanced heating system to create a constant room temperature, enhancing its efficiency and saving on energy costs. Automatic Flow Control AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC BALANCING PERFECT FOR RENOVATION Eclipse is a quick, easy and secure solution for two-pipe radiator heating systems. There are no complex piping and pressure loss calculations necessary. During the heating up phase and after lowering the individual room temperature, it immediately provides the required flow at the radiator. The flow rate is set directly at the valve: for a fast and cost-efficient installation. It also maintains the perfect flow without any noise and optimises radiator and boiler efficiency to maintain the required room temperature even if other valves are closed. As heating is based only on demand, it enhances the efficiency of the system and saves costs. The smaller size of the TRV fits all renovation applications and provides more mounting options, including straight, angle, double angle, right and left body housings. Because of the new standard valve body dimension, replacing old valves is easy. Eclipse thermostatic valve bodies have the same size as V-exact II standard valves. They are perfect for systems with unknown piping or small systems with non-reduceable pump head >15kPa. Eclipse valves are EN 215 approved and keymark registered. FLOW RATE SETTING DIRECTLY AT THE VALVE TIME-SAVING INSTALLATION AND HYDRONIC BALANCING Irrespective of the differential pressure, the valve controls the fl ow rate to the value preset. Thanks to the automatic fl ow control technology only the fl ow rate has to be defi ned. The fl ow rate is directly set at the valve with a setting key or an end wrench. Thanks to the optimum noise characteristics the valve can be used for differential pressures up to 60 kpa and therefore no differential pressure controllers are necessary. Eclipse is easy to install. No complex calculations for hydraulic balancing are necessary. The new and now standard EN 215 product dimensions allow absolute fl exibility in all kinds of renovation projects. The fl ow rate is set directly at the valve and the hydraulic balancing is easily done. Also partial system start ups are possible. Even system extensions have no infl uence to the balancing of the existing systems. This functionality increases radiator heating effi ciency and saves on energy consumption in comparison to normal thermostatic valves without AFC technology. Its added fl exibility also allows you to update, check or replace the insert while the system is in operation and without the need for draining saving you time on installation. This is valid for two-pipe radiator systems, underfl oor heating systems or mixed systems using A-exact, Multilux 4-A Set, Multibox AFC or Dynacon heating manifold. The new IMI Heimeier valve body has a new marking II+ and indicates that all inserts in new bodies can be easily changed, even the ones without automatic fl ow control can now be switched to the Eclipse insert.
