5 BATHTUBS Controls shall be operable with one hand, not requiring tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist; not requiring a force greater than 5 pounds to operate. SYMMONS TUB & SHOWER VALVES Sudden water temperature variations can cause scalds, slips, and falls. Symmons eliminates these fluctuations with an efficient pressure balancing system. This feature is now required by Code in some areas and/or applications. 7 TOILETS The height of water closets shall be 17 to 19 from the floor to the top of the toilet seat. Seats shall not be sprung to return to a lifted position. 4½ LIFT Attractive way to raise your toilet seat to meet ADA height restrictions. Does not include seat. 3 LIFT If you only need a couple of inches to meet the 17 height code, this seat will solve your problem. 8 GRAB BARS The diameter or width of the gripping surface of all grab bars shall be not less than 1 1/4 nor more than 1 1/2. There shall be a clearance space of 1 1/2 between the bar and the wall. Grab bars shall not rotate in their fittings, and shall be free of sharp or abrasive elements. NOTE: Grab bars are required for bathtubs, shower stalls, and toilets. 9 DRINKING FOUNTAINS Spouts shall be no higher than 36 from the floor, shall be located at the front of the unit, and shall direct the water flow in a trajectory that is parallel to the front of the unit. Water shall flow at least 4 high to allow for the use of a cup. NOTE: On a fountain with a round or oval bowl, the flow of water must be within 3 of the front edge. DOES NOT MEET ADA: DOES MEET ADA: ADA approved push-button style bubbler. WHAT YOU NEED: BUBBLER CONVERSION KIT This kit has a lead-free bubbler with a shank to go through the drinking fountain, a deep rosette, a supply line,and a handle hole cover.
