2 SYSTEM VENTECH LG 50 PAGE Product description The compact ventilation unit LG 50 system VENTECH, which comes with a passive house certificate, consists of a compact housing made of galvanized sheet steel that is free of thermal bridges and is thermally insulated, externally powder-coated in RAL 900, a high efficiency heat recovery system with an air/air counterflow heat exchanger made of recyclable plastic with an automatic 00% bypass, with energysaving radial fans with DC technology (state-of-the-art EC motor technology) with constant volume flow control, air filters of quality class F7 in the outdoor air and G in the extract air line, internally cabled control electronics and with an optional MINI, KOMFORT or DESIGN remote control unit. Area of application The compact ventilation unit LG 50 system VENTECH is used for the controlled mechanical supply and exhaust air ventilation of residential houses, larger residential units, offices and similar applications. The range of use extends fundamentally to residential areas of 80 m² to approx. 00 m² that are designed as passive or low energy structures, with an adjustable air volume flow up to 50 m³/h. 5 SYSTEM VENTECH LG 50 PAGE 5 Operator control unit MINI Operator control unit KOMFORT Operator control unit DESIGN Operation BYPASS The 00% bypass is controlled as a function of the preset room temperature, the measured extract air temperature and the outdoor air temperature. As a result the heat exchanger can be circumvented in the summer and the cold outdoor air blown out at night either directly or via the earth collector into the living space. CONTROL UNIT The settings on the ventilation unit are made via an operator control unit, which is supplied complete with the ventilation unit. For the purpose of triggering and operating the ventilation unit the operator control unit MINI can be selected optionally as a compact operator control unit for concealed mounting, the operator control unit KOMFORT with an integrated room sensor for surface mounting or the remote control unit with glass front. MINI The operator control unit MINI is for the purpose of activating the ventilation unit. It is easy to operate and allows setting of the fan speeds, switching between summer and winter modes and the setting of a basic volume flow, etc. Furthermore, operation, filter changes and any faults are displayed. KOMFORT All settings for the ventilation unit are performed via the operator control unit KOMFORT. In addition the operator control unit has an integrated day and week program. The current operational statuses and system values, e.g. operating mode, fan speed, temperatures, etc., are shown on the four-digit display. Operation (green), faults and filter change (flashing red) are displayed by way of signal lamps. Automatic or manual mode can be selected. DESIGN The DESIGN control unit impresses with its simple manipulation of all functions of the ventilation unit. All status and fault messages are shown in plain text. Operation, filter change and faults are displayed by way of three signal lamps. Automatic or manual mode can be selected. For communication an interface adapter is required.
