2 What is Thermal Destratification? Destratificator is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to lower energy costs and create an exceptionally comfortable thermal environment for inhabitants during both heating and cooling seasons. A destratificator gently directs the conditioned air at the ceiling to a required place at floor level. A unique mushroom-shaped airstream, initially narrow with wide opened reach, is the basic advantage of the DRF-VKM/VK destratification fans. The smart airstream profile produces higher air supply with lower velocity in operating areas to create a more comfortable environment particularly where you need it. Due to initially slimmer air jet profile the centrifugal destratification fans DRF-VKM/VK applications are especially suitable for grocery shops and warehouses with high racks as compared to axial destratification fans as the centrifugal models are able to eject airstream precisely into aisles with higher destratification efficiency whereas the axial models have to fight air resistance created by the racks. DRF-OV Effective Destratificated Area DRF-VK and DRF-VKM Effective Destratificated Area Privilege of the DRF-OV product Axial fan of the DRF-OV destratificator combines high airflow and extremely low power demand. The axial DRF-OV models are especially suitable for wide open space premises. Due to high airflow in bigger areas you need less units and pay less energy costs to attain the desired microclimate! Control All VENTS destratification fans DRF-VKM & VK & OV can be supplied with a Built-in Speed Controller with Temperature Sensor (Models with "U" option). When the temperature exceeds the set point the speed controller starts the fan on at the set speed. As the air temperature drops below the set point the controller switches the fan off. As soon as the air temperature rises again and the temperature sensor exceeds the previously set temperature, the controller starts the motor ON automatically and it runs at the set speed. As a result, the fans only run when needed. Temperature settings range from 70 F to 95 F.
