6 Installation Instructions: Step : Step : Part Installation Take out Archon IBE X heat-sink body from the brown box. Apply Anti-Vibration Paddings to corners on both sides of the Heatsink Body. Pull both ends of the Fan clip and make them go through holes on the corners of the heat-sink. Repeat for the other three fan clips. Leave all four fan clips on the Heatsink Body for fan install later on. Do not remove them. Step : Step : Back Plate Installation Choose the platform (LGA 775/50/55/56/66) you are in use. Make four ML0 Screw Pillars go through the Metal Back Plate and the Mylar film from bottom towards top.and then place the Metal Back Plate on the table. Put the four Washers (for Intel) around the Screw Pillars. Step : Step : Step : 775 Back Plate cap Note: When installing on a 775 platform, please first insert the Back Plate Cap into the opening on the Back plate, make sure you have the Cap facing downwards. Only for LGA775 platform, all other platforms go directly to Step. Step : Place the motherboard on top of the Back Plate. See the four Screw Pillars go through the four holes around the processor socket. Cap the four Screw Pillars with the four Screw Nuts in a criss-cross pattern.make sure the side with a washer is facing the Back Plate.
7 Step 5: Step 6: Step 5 : Anchoring Mount Installation Place the Anchoring Mount on the Screw Nuts. Use the four ML6 Screws to fix the Anchoring Mount on to the Screw Nuts. Step 6 :Applying Thermal Paste Apply the included Thermal Paste, Chill Factor III to the base of the Heatsink and the surface of the CPU evenly. (A flat edge, like a business card or an old credit card would be beneficial in spreading the thermal paste.) Step 7: Step 7 : Mounting Plate Installation Place the Heatsink Body on top of the CPU. Make Mounting Plate go through the Heatsink Body. And then use the two ML6 screws to secure the Mounting Plate, one side at a time in several turns to ensure balanced mounting. Step 8: Step 9: Step 8 : Fan Installation Place the included TY- fan onto the Heatsink body. And then secure it with the Fan Clips, by pulling the Fan Clips to place the four ends at the four holes on the TY- fan, Now repeat the same for the second fan on the other side of the heat-sink. Step 9 : Installation completed Connect the two TY- fans to the PWM Y-Cable then connect the cable to the CPU PWM Fan socket on the motherboard. Installation complete.

Step : Step : Anchoring Mount Installation Place the Anchoring Mount onto the four LGA0 Type B Screw Pillars, secure it by tightening it with ML6 Screws. Step : Step : Screw Pillar Installation Screw on the four LGA0 Type B Screw Pillars into the Heatsink studs on the ILM Assembly Frame around the processor socket. 7
11 Step : Step 5: Step : Applying Thermal Paste Apply the Thermal Paste to the base of the Heatsink and the surface of the CPU evenly. (A flat edge, like a business card or an old credit card would be beneficial in spreading the thermal paste.) Step 6: Step 5 : Mounting Plate Installation Place the Heatsink Body on top of the CPU. Make Mounting Plate go through the Heatsink Body. And then use the two ML6 screws to secure the Mounting Plate, one side at a time in several turns to ensure balanced mounting.
