Composting is a biological process in which microorganisms (bacteria) convert organic waste into compost. The compost looks like dry soil and is an excellent medium for growing plants. SHUDDHI COMPOSTER is a fully automatic composting machine which uses special microorganisms to break down and decompose all kinds of organic waste into compost within 24 hrs with a volume reduction of 85-90%. The entire process is natural and biological. Our special microorganisms thrive in high temperature and even in high acidic or salty conditions. The SHUDDHI COMPOSTER has a U-shaped composting tank, with a humidity sensor, heater, mixing blades and an exhaust system. When Organic Waste is added to the SHUDDHI COMPOSTER, moisture is sensed by the humidity sensor, due to which heater turns ON and the composting tank gets heated. Due to this, the water content in the organic waste is evaporated and it goes out to the atmosphere as water vapour through the exhaust system. As any organic (food) waste contains 70-80% water content, we achieve 70-80% volume reduction at this stage itself. At the same time our special microorganisms decompose the remaining organic waste into compost within 24 hours. That s how we achieve 85-3

4 90% volume reduction. The process is completely noiseless as there is no crushing or grinding involved. The blades are just for evenly mixing the waste. CAUTION Hard substances like coconut or jackfruit shells, wood, iron or steel objects and any other type of hard substances should not be at any cost put into the machine, as it may cause severe damage to the machine. 4

Force Majeure - In all cases where a time schedule for dispatch, delivery, erection or completion has been specified, the time for all these shall be extended by reasonable period if the delay is caused by lack of instruction from the Purchaser or any industrial 6

7 disputes, war, strikes, natural calamity, lockout, fire, accident, defective materials, approval of drawings, statutory restriction or any causes whatsoever beyond our and our Supplier s reasonable control. No liability will be acceptable due to the above reasons. 5. Liability - In no case we will be liable for loss of anticipated profits as well as consequential damages, loss because of plant shutdown, non-operation, or increased cost of operation, or another consequential loss or damage of any nature. In other words, our liability under the contract shall be solely restricted to the framework of our performance guarantee subject to all conditions stipulated therein. 6. Drawings, Designs & Patterns - All specifications, drawings, designs, data information, ideas methods conceived, developed or acquired, incidental or produced and /or carried out, shall be the sole property of SHUDDHI NGO and shall not be used by the Purchaser or any other Party associated with the Purchaser for any other project. Unless otherwise agreed drawings are not subject to Purchaser s approval. All Specifications are subject to changes during detail Engineering. Unless formally agreed, soft copies, tracings and reproducible drawings are not provided and SHUDDHI NGO reserves the rights to photograph its installed equipment/systems for record and publicity purpose with Purchaser s prior consent. 7. Alternations to Machine Supplied - Purchaser shall not make any repairs, alterations or replacement regarding the machine supplied without written authorization of SHUDDHI NGO. 8. Handing Over - Unless otherwise specified in the order and accepted, handing over of the machine and / or installation would be considered as completed and a formal completion certificate shall be issued by the purchaser/ user if: o The material has been supplied as per the terms of scope of supply or with agreed deviations, if any. o Erection if involved has been completed generally as per the terms of order or with unavoidable deviations. o The equipment and /or installation have been put to commercial use either with or without the help of our engineer. The Purchaser / user are expected to put the equipment to commercial use only after issuing a formal completion certificate. Our responsibility in term of warranty shall cease straightaway if the equipment is put into operation without formal taking over. Installation of equipment shall be started only after all payments dues against supply have been cleared by the Purchaser. Similarly, trial - run / commissioning as applicable shall be started only after payments due against erection have been made to the Seller. Either party shall have the right to propose changes in the machine to the party prior to manufacture / delivery but no changes shall be binding on either party until incorporated into an amended order to this agreement, accepted by both parties. 9. Storage - The Purchaser shall be responsible to protect the machine against damage from weather or other causes and for any costs in connection with storage and reconditioning. 10. Cancellation- Purchaser can cancel the agreement at any time, but shall be liable for payment of all cost including overheads and losses incurred after that time, that cannot be avoided by Seller. The Seller s estimate in this regard shall be final and binding on the Purchaser. 7
