1 with RS485 XH50P XH55P Dixell extends its own range of temperature/humidity sensors with new XH50P and XH55P models equipped with RS485 ModBUS-RTU compatible and capable to evaluate the current dew point value of the ambient. These devices are suited for large range of applications such as the refrigeration, the air conditioning and the domotics. 1. Applications 1.1 Refrigeration XH50P can be profitably used in Refrigeration field thanks to its special feature: the possibility to calculate the current dew point of the room and therefore drive anti-sweat heaters. Anti-sweat heaters power is modulated according with real room conditions (temperature and humidity) achieving high energy saving. XH50P modules the heaters by means of its relay or by the optional 0-10V analog output. pag. 1 di 5

2 Working with XWEB5000, a single device is able to send the dew point value to more instruments (for example XM600K). These ones will perform by themselves the power regulation. 1.2 Air conditioning Working with ipro programmable controller, the XH50P and XH55P (version with knob) become fundamental devices to manage the comfort on any dwelling ambient, on hotel rooms, on offices and hospital structures. Using the device, in any zone it s possible to obtain the temperature (management of floor heating) or both temperature and relative humidity (management of radiating plant). In this case, the dew point value can be calculated directly by the device. All of the measured values are sent through the RS485 to ipro programmable controller which will manage various loads such as water pump, mixer valves, boilers, dehumidifier, heat pump. 3 LEDs to show device status Digital temperature/humidity sensor 3. Product features 3.1 Configurable relay output 3.2 The device is equipped with a configurable relay. This relay can be configured to work as temperature regulator or as anti-sweat heaters control. This functioning allows power modulation made by changing the ON and OFF periods depending on the dew point value. With the knob (XH55P), it s possible to add an offset to the actual set point. 3.3 Configurable analog output Thanks to this output the device can work as anti-sweat heaters controller or as a simple humidity probe. 3.4 Configurable digital input Activating or deactivating this input it s possible to switch on and off the energy saving or the zone control. 3.5 External NTC probe Instead of using the internal probe, it s possible to use the external NTC in order to perform the regulation or in case of anti-sweat heater regulation it can be applied to the glass of the cabinet. pag. 3 di 5
