2 ABOUT US EP Purification manufactures novel and environmentally-sound systems for the purification of water and air. Based on microcavity plasma technology developed at the University of Illinois, EP Purification ozone products are efficient, robust, and more than a factor of ten smaller in weight and volume than conventional technology. EP Purification systems are the result of more than a decade of research and engineering, and are protected by more than 70 U.S. and international patents. Our products offer microplasma technology which greatly reduces cost and weight. Our product lines include ozone generators for commercial laundries, cooling towers, food processing, municipal water supplies, waste water treatment, and agricultural processing facilities. Extensive tests show the generators to be as efficient as the best conventional systems available but with a significant reduction in O&M cost, and linear ozone production for the life of the generators. EP Purification water disinfection systems eliminate the use of chlorine and other toxic chemicals that are widespread in commercial laundries, pools, conventional drinking water and cooling tower disinfection systems. Ozone, a molecule comprising three oxygen atoms, is aggressive against microscopic pathogens in water that are resistant to conventional disinfectants. EP Purification systems are designed to deliver the precise dosage of ozone that is required to disinfect a given amount of water.
