13 WFG9 Wetland & Pond Areas 22 Leisure Lawn WF10 Cornfield Annuals 23 WFG9 Wetland & Pond Areas WF10 Cornfield Annuals Suitable for aquatic habitats and damp, low lying sites, edges of ponds, rivers and ditches. Take care to establish in times when there is least risk of flooding. Cornfield annuals, once a common feature of traditional farming areas, have largely disappeared from their former habitat. This mixture can be used to re-create those areas and gives an outstanding display of colour in its first year, either sown on its own or to supplement a mixture of perennial species which are slower to establish. Latin Name Caltha palustris Filipendula ulmaria Geranium pratense Common Name Marsh Marigold Meadow Sweet Meadow Cranesbill To produce a display of cornfield annuals every year, a re-seeding programme should be implemented to build up a seedbank. After several years there will be enough seed to be regenerated by soil disturbance. 14 Granular Fertilisers 24 Leisure Lawn Granular Fertilisers 25 Granular Fertilisers Germinal s compound and mini-granular fertilisers are formulated for amenity grass areas. You can choose from pre-seeding or post-seeding fertilisers. Compound fertilisers are made up of individual prills containing Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) which ensure an even supply of nutrients for strong growth in all types of turf grasses. G1 Pre-seeding Quick Start The industry standard pre-seeding fertilser. Nitrogen 6% Phosphate 9% Potassium 6% G2 Pre-seeding Quick Start Extra Highly recommended for impoverished soils. Our granular products have distinct benefits over cheaper, blended forms designed for agricultural use which creates lush, weak growth and increase the risk of scorching. Blends may contain large proportions of grit which offers no nutritive value and may damage expensive mowing machinery. Nitrogen 10% Phosphate 15% Potassium 10%

15 Granular Fertilisers 26 Leisure Lawn Granular Fertilisers 27 Spring/Summer G3 Spring Kick Spring/Summer G5 Booster A good general purpose granular feed for use in the spring when rapid growth promotion is required on sports pitches, lawns or general amenity areas. A general purpose spring/summer fertiliser for sports grounds and golf fairways. Nitrogen 12% Phosphate 6% Potassium 6% Nitrogen 9% Phosphate 7% Potassium 7% Spring/Summer G4 Fine Turf Spring Kick Spring/Summer G6 Booster Extra A well-balanced spring/summer fertiliser that stimulates root development on fine turf areas ideal for lawns, golf courses and bowling greens. For established reclamation areas where fertiliser will maintain healthy grass cover otherwise lost through lack of nutrients. Nitrogen 11.3% Phosphate 5.1% Potassium 5.1% Nitrogen 20% Phosphate 10% Potassium 10%

16 Granular Fertilisers 28 Leisure Lawn Granular Fertilisers 29 Autumn/Winter G7 Fine Turf Winter Defence Spring/Summer G9 Fine Turf Iron Booster The ideal autumn/winter fertiliser for fine turf areas used intensively during summer months. A balanced fertiliser with high nitrogen and iron to provide steady growth, good colour and strength. Nitrogen 3% Nitrogen 12% Phosphate 10% Phosphate 3% Potassium 5.2% Potassium 9% Iron 2% Autumn/Winter G8 Winter Defence Spring/Summer G10 Labour Saver A compound fertiliser designed to stiffen the leaf blade and encourage root growth through the winter. An efficient fertiliser that feeds turf and provides effective control of broad leaf weeds and moss. Nitrogen 3% Nitrogen 10% Phosphate 12% Phosphate 4% Potassium 12% Potassium 4% Iron 8%
